"Great location for visiting sigiriya, but despite coming up as "Dambulla" on the map, it's about a 20 minute drive from there. Busses to Dambulla run from the end of the road and are quite regular.
The rooms are basic but nice enough. Our room was not dirty but not spotlessly clean either. It had a private patio which was perfect for relaxing.

"Hotel is great. They charged us by mistake when we checked in. Realized their error and upgraded us to a villa as an apology. Rooms, hotel grounds, restaurant and service of staff are all top notch. "
"We got to the property and did not have the upgraded rooms. Apparently they don’t read their emails or bookings from Expedia. We had to scramble to get just regular rooms. The actual rooms hardly anything worked including the locks, the safe, the bathtub did not work properly. It was quite a disappointment. Considering we thought we were getting an upgraded experience. I would not go there again. "

"As the hotel name suggests the property is located away from the city's hustle and bustle :) you are immersed in nature and its beautiful surroundings. The staff were welcoming and our check in was quick and smooth. Rooms are spacious with all the necessary amenities. There was enough water pressure from the shower head regardless of the negative comments some guests experienced. Food at the restaurant was deeeeelicious and plenty of varieties from Sri Lankan to international cusines my kids enjoyed their dinner and breakfast (ages 4, 8 and 13) Pool was clean and inviting. Now to the spa i cannot thank Andhira enough she was amazing. I highly recommend guests to stay at Sigiriya Jungles if you are looking for peace and quiet in the middle of nature.
