With a concert in town, New Plymouth was boooked out - but I was glad to have a room at 299! Was given a warm welcome and slept well. The property is older but perfectly comfortable. Walkable into the centre of town and the coastal walkway. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location for my needs - great coffee shop just along the road. Room was tidy, clean and comfortable, if a little dated. Reception was very welcoming and helpful when I checked in. Recommended if you are looking for something in this area of town and dont need the facilities of a much more expensive hotel

Great room for three of us. Plenty of space and facilities in kitchen e.g. two electric elements, microwave, toaster, electric jug, good sized fridge, pot, frypan, jug. Large bathroom with decent shower. Decor bit dated but well maintained and very clean. Small outdoor area for each unit as well as room to picnic near pool. 10 minute walk to CBD, very well priced and tasty Thai takeaways 5minute walk. Good cafe three doors away.

Relieving staff were very helpful, friendly and supportive. Light in bathroom was not suitable for the mirror, 2 bulbs not working. Overall an excellent experience.

This was a great option for our overnight stay. We were able to have a family of five all fit comfortably. Added bonus of having the pool right out our door to let the kids get some energy out before we checked out and started the drive home.

Good location, very comfortable beds and lots of space. Very tired condition with huge, old cobwebs in multiple places. Very easy walk to town centre and sea front.

Hi, thanks for your review. Sorry about the cobwebs. I did get the cleaner to go into the unit when you appeared to be quite concerned about them. Slight exaggeration with "very tired" condition.

Nothing unique Lots of dust on surfaces in unit. Limited office hours 2pm to 8pm a real pain. On Thursday office closed at least 10 mins before *pm.

hi, thanks for your review. 2pm-8pm are stock standard office hours in a motel. These are the times people can check in. There is no necessity for the office to be open in the mornings as people have checked out and there is generally no one around until 2pm. There is an emergency number in the compendiums if you needed to contact us, which is 24/7.

Property was in very average condition, not the cleanest, was a bit of a windy night we were there and it was like a wind tunnel through the apartment, sounded like the roof was going to be torn off so didn't help sleep wise. The property was ok for literally a quick nights sleep but wouldn't go back.

Easy to find, convenient to city centes. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Unit was a generous size. The best thing of all was that we could have our dog with us. Fantastic for us so we will be back and highly recommended

The rooms were not cleaned well. There were many ants in the in the bedrooms and kitchen. There were also a lot of spiderwebs in the corners of the room, and a lot of dust on surfaces. The curtains were mouldy and floors looked as though they hadn’t been mopped. These seem like basic cleanliness issues.

Aged but very clean accommodation. Plenty of room to spread out. Bed large and comfortable, shower hot and well stocked kitchen. Would recommend for travellers needing a few nights stopover as felt like we were staying in a small apartment. Close to town centre and beach.

Average to Low is abit harsh. It's not a commercial area. You were surrounded by residential houses. Very easy walk to restaurants, cafes etc.

We stayed in a family unit which was spacious for us and our 3 kids. Kitchen amenities were really handy for being able to eat in & the guest laundry on-site was great for doing a load of washing. Unit was relatively quiet and we couldn't hear any other guests - road noise was a bit loud until the evening, but tolerable. Unit was a bit dated, although a few things had been obviously renovated. Would have liked a newer shower though - old stainless steel shower with weak pressure, plus no extractor fan in the bathroom. Ceiling fans kept us cool at night but a heat pump in the room would have been great.

As I love to read, the lighting was brilliant. So much better than any motel I have stayed in. And the bottle of ice cold water in the fridge was appreciated on a very hot day. Spacious and comfortable unit.
