Great place to stay near the French Quarter. Just on the opposite side of Canal St. Very little noise from the street. Close to alot of restaurants, shopping. Hotel has a restaurant and bar downstairs called the Tackle Box. Quite convenient location. Highly recommend!
Hotels in this area are very old. There are carpets inside the rooms, and they stink. Toilets in NOLA are very close to the ground, was similar in the hotel too. Overall the hotel was good. Parking is too expensive, $50 per night. Beds in the room were clean.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. I didn't find the concierges very helpful, but other than that it was a good stay. We were also able to walk to just about everything we wanted to see as the hotel was in a good central location.
Staff was alway friendly and helpful if a question arose.

The room was kept well the staff was friendly and helpful. Some other guests didn’t know to use their inside voices in the wee hours but other than that it was an awesome stay. 🙂
The room was spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. The large screen TV needed tuning — too bright. We liked the roominess of the bathroom and enjoyed the rain-like shower, however we reported a slow-draining sink. We were impressed by a helpful reception staff and a resourceful concierge. All considered, our four day stay was a good value at a peak travel time.

The room was large and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the noise in the room. The windows are very old and single pane. There's a lot of street noise, especially if you're on a lower floor.
