Omni Royal Orleans Hotel

The hotel had the charm I anticipated for the French Quarter. It was lovely and situated one block off of bustling Bourbon Street, so close enough to the “action” but away from the noise and rowdy Madrid Gras revelers. However, the rooms run small; check square footage when booking the room. The bathroom was small as well. There were some stains on the carpet and the shower/tub could use some caulking/reglazing. But overall a lovely hotel, where I would stay again, just in a bigger room.

the hotel is located in the French Quarter. The views from our balcony were interesting and you could see the entirety of several streets. The hotel is OK. It is old and is satisfactorily maintained - nothing exceptional..... there are quite a few areas where upgrades are needed (painting, carpeting). The interior hallways are dingy and really need an update. The rooms are a bit small but appeared clean. The noise level in the hallways and from revelers outside is quite high at times - difficult to sleep before midnight.

Location was perfect! Close to our favorite restaurants, one block from Bourbon Street. Jacuzzi tub was great after a long day and night of partying! Love New Orleans! Will definitely stay at the Omni Royal again.
