The house was amazing and only steps from the streetcar and some amazing local eats. The rooms were large and the beds comfy. The hosts were very responsive and check in went smoothly. Would definitely stay here again.
We had 5 adults and the house was very comfortable. Kitchen is nicely stocked with all the dishware, pots & pans, glasses you'll need. Location was great, not too far away from all the attractions! Highly recommend!
The property was nice and clean and a little walk to the night life attractions. The neighborhood was nice and easy to get to the Street Cars. We had a wonderful and will stay again.Marilyn Sims
Cute little property is a great location. Very convenient to the streetcar and plenty of space for our group of 6. Check in and out were simple. Loved the off street parking!
We had a great stay before Christmas. The place is great for getting the Trolley into the city. Parking is safe and secure. The inside is beautiful and worked well for our family.
This was our first time in New Orleans. This house is beautiful, clean and well appointed. The house is historic and yet very homey and comfortable. It was more than enough room for the four of us. The back yard is quiet and very relaxing after a busy day. The convenience of the trolley being so close was a huge benefit.
Absolutely beautiful home. Everything was clean amd well maintained. The bathrooms were my favorite! The artwork that is displayed there is amazing. Words cant decribe how beautiful this home truly is.
My friends and I booked this VRBO for a group trip and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Maison de Manon was beautiful and had everything we needed to really feel at home. The host proactively provided a ton of helpful information and was easy to reach whenever we had a question prior to arrival, and during our stay. I hope to be back soon, thank you for helping to making our first visit to NOLA such a special and comfortable one!
This house has true character! It’s a 130 year old historic home with a Renaissance feel but it’s decorated with an added New Orleans flare. Very cool! It’s in a great location near the city park and just steps away to catch the trolley. It was very comfortable and has a nice sitting area out back. This home made our stay very enjoyable!
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in New Orleans! The property is beautiful and steps away from the trolley stop. We were able to park our car in the space provided and never moved it. If ever in The Big Easy again, I would absolutely rent this house again. Thanks to the owner for making sure everything was spotless when we arrived!
What an absolutely amazing place to stay!! Clean, quiet, spacious, beautifully decorated, stocked kitchen, outdoor space, 1/2 block to trolley, short drive to French Quarter/ride the trolley, responsive property management and ownership!! We highly recommend this property!!
An extra surprise…when we inquired about cleanup…no cleanup list to complete before checkout. Wow!!
My college girlfriends and I came to visit my daughter who is attending Tulane Law School. The beautiful Maison de Manon had everything we needed for a night in or a night on the town. It was centrally located to the French Quarter, shopping, Orange Theory, food, Fun, and my Daughter's school. The home is big enough to provide privacy for large groups as well as a place to gather.
Beautiful and clean property! Our family stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a college graduation in New Orleans. The house was very well equipped, and we appreciated all the extra touches such as coffee selections and lots of extra towels! Comfy beds! The front bedroom did get a little warm at night but we were there on a hot weekend! It would’ve been nice to have the king size bed in the primary suite but I think the large primary bathroom made up for that! Overall a great stay, and would recommend!
Inside is beautiful, beds and accommodations were comfy for our group, it's a block away from the trolley downtown/to city park, and you have parkway bakery and a grocery store down the street. Neighborhood is close enough to be convenient but far enough that its quiet. Just be careful about too much noise at night. Neighborhood is quiet and the walls have zero noise dampening.

Cute place needed some better cleaning
Location was super close to some amazing restaurants and a trolly stop. Home was not very clean on our arrival. Long hairs were seen in and on the bed or drawers and several cups in the cabinets were sticky or didn’t appear as if they were washed before being put back. Biggest bed is downstairs adjacent to the kitchen and only has a sink and toilet attached to it. Beds were too soft/old and bedding didn’t seem to fit
This home was beautiful, and exactly as described. When we first walked in, it smelled a little mildewy, but nothing that lingered. The main floor was nice and cool, and was a welcome greeting from the hot weather in New Orleans. The upstairs was quite a bit warmer, but did cool down to about 74 degrees after we adjusted the thermostat. We did have to adjust it daily, but it was really not a big deal at all. Each upstairs bathroom/bedroom had a portable fan that we used in the bedrooms at night. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were clean and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including salt and pepper and a few other condiments. There is a parking area for two vehicles that is off the street, which is really nice, however it was a tight fit when the other side of the duplex was also rented out. All in all, this house worked perfectly for our family, and we felt safe during our entire stay.
This is a neat historic home. For the 5 folks in our party it was comfortable and just the right size. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with all the necessary amenities. The house is only 1/2 block from the street car line which makes it super convenient to get most everywhere. There are several great bars within easy walking distance in the neighborhood that we discovered and enjoyed.
Communication with the host was exceptional. We appreciated the gracious accommodation to our check-in arrival. Staying in the heat of the summer, we did experience the AC struggling to keep the north upstairs bedroom cool. The host was quick to respond and was able to monitor that remotely. Cooled down enough in the evening that it was not uncomfortable. Being an older home that has been converted, We did not pick up from the property description that the king bedroom downstairs has the 1/2 bath and no shower. You also have to go through this bedroom to get to the kitchen (as is indicated in the pictures). The upstairs bedroom is en-suite with full bath, and the third bedroom (2 queens) shares the other full bathroom in the upstairs hallway. We were all close friends so made it work. We enjoyed the historic character of the house and the creative decorative touches that made for a comfortable and homey stay.
In town for a wedding. The home was spacious and allowed us to host some small gatherings in preparation for the wedding as well as a post afternoon lunch. The kitchen is well equipped and we could easily accommodate. Bedrooms are spacious and showers are very nice. Recommend and would stay again.
This was a beautiful, comfortable “home” in New Orleans. It was exactly as described. The interior was so nicely appointed. The neighborhood is up and coming. We did not use the streetcar but it is just steps away. We walked to local bars and coffee shops. It was an easy Uber everywhere else. The host was professional and responsive. We would happily stay again.
