This home is clean, in a great neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants, and is in a very safe district that has a wealth of history and stunning architecture. When I was searching for full homes to rent in a safe area, they were basically non-existent, and impossible to find at such an affordable rate. The gated private parking was an added bonus! The owner was communicative and helpful. I do have to say if you're impressed with the photos of this place, you'll be blown away when you actually see it. We couldn't have had a better time and will definitely be back!

Amazing Stay

Great property, everything as pictured. Charming neighborhood walkable to restaurants and bars. Host was extremely welcoming. Checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and even arranged a later checkout without us having to ask. Would definitely stay again!

I loved the house, you can tell the owner put a lot into it. Location was great, there are plenty of places to walk to and a great organic juice bar a block away.

Fantastic location away from the overcrowded tourist areas yet still in a lively neighborhood with exceptionally close restaurants, coffee shops and a market. We loved being able to pop out the door and within a few minute walk, have a variety of places to eat or relax and have a coffee. The home was absolutely beautiful, with beds that were luxurious, making sleeping sublime. Ian, was more like a cousin than a typical host, insuring that we had no issues and providing lots of very helpful tips to make our stay relaxing and stress-free. Only wish he had many more homes to rent through out the world for us to rent, lol!

Location and Comfort in NOLA!

This house is amazing and the host is full of great local recommendations. This location is amazing - walkable to Magazine street in both directions, the trolly to the French Quarter is blocks away and its quiet, clean, and so comfy. Loved everything about the home.

Great Stay

Spectacular property and location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Secure off street parking was certainly a plus, and we mostly walked anyway. Very comfortable accommodations for 3 adults and 1 child. Laundry and well stocked kitchen were important when traveling with a five year old. Communication with property owner was smooth and he was super responsive. We will stay again on our next NOLA visit.

Most amazing quaint cottage off the bustling magazine street. Felt like you were part of the neighborhood. House was beautiful and clean. Lovely beds and quality linens. Ian was a very gracious host. Will be back next time!

Great home, great area

This is a great home in a wonderful area. Beds are very comfortable. It’s a whole different New Orleans experience to be one block off Magazine St - one we much prefer. So many restaurants, bars, shops, grocery, bakeries, coffee shops, etc that you can walk to and just wander around. We absolutely loved it. Ian is a great host.

Fantastic!!

The home was centrally located just off Magazine St and immaculate! It also was so quiet at night, perfect for relaxing and sleeping well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We parked our car in the secure driveway and walked everywhere all week!! Look forward to returning and staying in the same house.

NOLA Stay - Garden District

The property is very close to Magazine Street which provides easy access to the Garden District and the bus line if the group wants to visit Canal Street. The furnishings are high-end, and the off-street parking is truly an asset. The host was very communicative and attentive throughout the process. My family and I would not hesitate to book this property again. Great for families of all ages!

Fabulous stay!

Look no further as Ian’s VRBO is amazing! Perfect location for exploring NOLA with lots of restaurants, cafes, funky stores, pubs and a grocery store in walking distance. Awesome to stay in a quieter area after the business of the French Quarter. The house is as beautiful as the photos, has extremely comfortable beds and all the amenities you need to feel right at home. Very safe area! We will definitely book again on our next trip to NOLA! Thank you Ian your beautiful place was the perfect stay for us!

Loved Ian's house! Great attention to detail. He was very on top of communication and making sure we had everything we needed. Ton's of space and light. Perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants on Magazine and catch the street car on St. Charles.

Everything about this place is perfect. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, but a block and a half from Magazine Street and walkable to great restaurants (Atchafayala!). The place is lovely, with comfy beds, a big beautiful bathtub and shower, a GREAT swing chair, and the kinds of added touches that boost it to five stars--thank you for the bar soap! thank you for the water in the fridge! Ian is incredibly fast in getting back to you, and very helpful, a perfect host. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Irish Channel gem

This is a beautiful house in a great neighborhood. We easily walked to excellent restaurants, shopped and had cocktails. There was a drug store and grocery just a couple of blocks away—easy walk. Gated parking on site. We had everything we needed for a lovely weekend.

Upscale Home Away from Home

This home was incredibly comfortable, and we loved being walking distance to the coffee shops and boutiques on Magazine Street. The elevated design and spaciousness of the home made for an experience way better than a hotel. The best part, though, was the communication with the owner. He made sure we had all the information we needed, checked in to make sure we were all right after we arrived, and even made some calls in the city for us. Highly recommend!

Great place to explore Garden District

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks in between my Krewe’s open house and Mardi Gras. Two friends joined us for a few days. House worked extremely well. Great location for long walks and very close to good bars and restaurants. Walked up to parades and streetcars on st Charles. Ian was attentive and responsive. We had no issues. Beds very comfortable and common areas were well appointed and were conducive to work, hanging out or watching TV. Would definitely stay here again.
