Treme all day!

We had a great visit in this clean two story with a charming family room area and dining space. We enjoyed making breakfasts at the flat and having some incredible restaurants within walking distance. The place was exactly what we wanted for our experience and would love to stay again!

Amazing stay

My friends and I had an enjoyable trip to New Orleans. The check in process was easy and Eric was very accommodating with details. The property was clean, comfortable, and gorgeous. We loved enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning in the beautiful courtyard area. The original details of the home were amazing. The location was good for us - easy walk to various points of interest or a quick uber ride back after a day of walking.

Relaxing and Convenient

What a wonderful way to experience New Orleans! We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, and we especially loved being able to spend morning and evenings in the courtyard. The location is perfect - the French Quarter is truly a short walk, and the neighborhood is quiet. The host is also extremely responsive and very helpful.

Perfectly New Orleans

Location, Location, Location!!! My family and I typically hang in Marigny when in NOLA. Well we were only a few blocks away which was very convenient. The property welcomed us with a historic and culturistic experience. It was perfect. We were able to wake up Mardi Gras morning and witness the Mardi Gras Indians doing their thing on the streets of Treme. We'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect Stay!

The cottage is perfect! A short walk to the quarter but far enough away to get a decent sleep. Everything was clean and the kitchen had all the amenities needed to cook meals. The back courtyard is a delightful retreat. It took me a minute to figure out the cypher locks but once I did, it was a nice added security measure. We felt safe in the location and would definitely recommend.

We loved this place - perfect for a couple with two kids. One of the cleanest VRBOs we have stayed in. Very responsive host who graciously allowed an early check-in when our flight got in early, very walkable to the main section of the French Quarter, even caught a nighttime second line parade one night 2 blocks over. Loved the courtyard and enjoyed coffee there every morning. One block from the Rampart Rd Cajun Encounters tour bus pick up too - we got both the Whitney Plantation and a swamp tour in. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

Had a Great Time!

Girls trip visiting the city for the first time. We made some great memories! The house was perfect for our needs. We walked during the day and grabbed Ubers at night. There is a nice cafe only about six blocks away for coffee and breakfast sandwiches, and the walk to Bourbon St is easy (15 minutes). Eric was amazing, even coming to rescue us after we managed to mess up the door lock late one night and couldn’t get in. The neighborhood is very quiet. Would definitely recommend.

60th Birthday Gift

Four of us traveled to celebrate my SIL's 60th birthday and the Creole Cottage was fantastic! It was exactly what we expected and added that New Orleans charm to the trip a hotel just can't match. We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of the courtyard every morning during coffee and at night for our nightcaps. The beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed in the kitchen, and Eric provided us with some great recommendations for things to do. The cottage is also located in a perfect location! We had a wonderful time and will be happy to stay at the Creole Cottage on future NOLA visits.

Lovely house and a great place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely Creole cottage. The furnishings were well kept and comfortable. The Treme neighborhood proved an interesting area to explore away from the French Quarter wild hub bub. But we did like being able to walk into the Quarter, to Frenchman Street, down to Canal and beyond. The Bywater, the St. Charles streetcar, and other parts of town are easily accessible. The house provided for all our needs and Eric quickly responded when we needed something extra. We appreciated his recommendations, too. We loved Fatma's. We highly recommend staying here.

Good place to stay near Bourbon street but quiet

This is a charming 2-floor place, clean, serviceable, well-located, and with 2 baths good for a family of four. The bedrooms had no light. One has no window and the other only has French doors that can’t open and that has closed shutters. There wasn’t a lot of street noise but the French doors weren’t sealed so any sound from outside was easily heard. Perhaps that’s been taken care of. The upstairs bath needs to be corrected. It’s hard to enter the tub, and the fixed glass wall means you cannot turn on the tub unless you’re standing inside of it. This can be redone and should be; just rip out the glass wall and put in a curtain. Otherwise, this was a perfectly good place for us to stay for a 4-day weekend.

This was a charming, sweet place. The location, if you're not going to stay directly in the French Quarter, was great! Just a few blocks off and probably quieter! Eric was a wonderful host. He amended an issue we were having, with great communication. And he let us store our luggage on the last day and have later check out which was appreciated!
