This B&B was a great find. The house was out of the beaten path which made it perfect. A river at the bottom of the hill with a porch overlooking it was peaceful. A cow pasture was close by. The owner was lovely and accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious and all homemade. Will refer to friends who live nearby and when in area again, we will definitely stay again.

The house is located at the end of a private road through a pretty farm area. It has 3 bedrooms, one on the first floor, and two on the second. Guests have access to their own rooms using a key, but can use the rest of the house as they wish--store items in the fridge, hang out in the main room, etc. The owner is a lovely person. It was easy and convenient to arrive after official check out and leave before official check in. Would recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place. The guest house was built in 2000 or so but looks like an old log cabin. Beautiful wood floors, modern bathroom, a kitchen with cathedral ceiling with windows, a piano, and a quiet deck outside to sit and enjoy the quiet. Breakfast was home-cooked and amazing, and the coffee was the best I've had at any place I've stayed (and I travel a lot). Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect! The host was so nice and accommodating. The house was quiet and cozy. The property was just what my husband and I were looking for! The New England room was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Would definitely recommend 10/10! We will be back!!!!

Peaceful and relaxing
We were returning to Florida after visiting family in New England. We escaped the highway for a day and walked around the Arboretum, hiked Sky Meadows, had lunch and wine tasting at Arterra. Visited the Apple farm. Then found River Bluff to be a perfect relaxing ending to our day. Scenic, comfortable, plenty of room, friendly folks, amazing breakfast served on the deck the next day. Highly recommend!

Loved the place. Dona was so helpful. The location is exceptional. One side the hills and on the other side the river. Loved the small tracking around. The night we stayed was full moon. Thus the sky was gorgeous. If you are looking for a escape from bricks and mortal its the perfect place. Will revisit soon.

Fantastic relaxing stay.
This is one of the best bed and breakfast places I have stayed at. Donna made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The setting is fantastic down by the Shenandoah river with lots of space outside to hang around in. The rooms are comfortable with lots of places to relax inside as well.The breakfasts we had were first class. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are in the area.

wonderful little B&B close to Luray
A quaint little out of the way place that was perfect for our weekend getaway! The room was very nice, nothing too fancy. Breakfast was very good, and Matt was a gracious host! We enjoyed chatting with other guests out on the deck overlooking the Shenandoah River. The views were breathtaking! We went to Luray Caverns afterwards. Not too long of a drive there. I recommend staying here if that is your destination!

Just What We Needed
This was our first trip to the Shenandoah Valley. It was also the first trip away for my boyfriend and me together. I chose the River Bluff Farms B&B because of the log cabin feel it gave and he is a big fan of log cabins. We weren't disappointed. Clean and cozy and comfortable with modern updates ( the shower in the Loudan room was amazing. It was also his first experience in a B&B and I was a bit nervous about how he'd react to that but he loved it. We were the only couple there for our 2 night stay so we had the place to ourselves. Since we were on an exploration trip we did a lot of driving in the area and found plenty to keep ourselves busy. We could have easily just hung out at the house and had just as enjoyable of a time. We awoke to snow on the last day of our stay which was very pretty but also chased us home a little quicker than we would have planned. All in all this place was just the get a way we needed.

The B&B is a bit hard to find, but thankfully there are helpful signs on the property. Once we arrived, it was a wonderful experience. The home has the perfect amount of comfort and rustic charm. There are many board games to play in front of the fireplace. You can walk to the top of a nearby hill for a nice view and relax on a hammock near the river. And breakfast was delicious! The couple that runs the B&B were very kind and obviously enjoy what they do. Will definitely return.

The Inn was clean & quaint. The location was just right about 2 miles off a main road allowing a peaceful environment. Nice walk to river on property or a short hike up to view the valley and mountains.The hostess was outstanding & cooked a wonderful breakfast. Lovely B&B in Luray!
Donna, the owner and host, couldn't have been nicer. The property is beautiful and the house is charming. My husband and I stayed in the New England room which had a very comfortable bed and beautifully upgraded bathroom. It was on the upper level and very hot out so it wasn't quite as cool as we'd prefer but fortunately there was a fan to use in the wardrobe that worked out perfectly for us. We had a very relaxing stay, a great breakfast and even got to meet her pigme goats on our way out. We would definitely reccomend and stay again if we are in the area!

Remote B&B with a view
Really enjoyed our stay at River Bluff Farm. The breakfast couldn’t have been better or fresher! This is a small 3 bedroom B&B with beautiful view of the river from a large deck or Adirondack chairs (with a fire bowl). Unfortunately for us, it rained non-stop. Donna couldn’t have been a better hostess. The only difficulty we had was finding the place (can be hard in the dark), as it is remote, but that is also it’s beauty!

Beautiful B&B with beautiful views
We stopped here on our way moving from NY to NC, and had a very restful, peaceful night. The location is amazing, right on the shores of the Shenandoah river with views of the mountains across the fields. Donna was a wonderful hostess, and we enjoyed conversation with her while she prepared a delicious breakfast for us to send us on our way. Very very highly recommended. We already plan to meet friends here for a longer stay in the future.

Beautiful B&B
We were traveling to another destination and just needed a room for an overnight stay. River Bluff Farm B&B looked like a nice, reasonably priced, unique place to stay, and we were not disappointed! It's a beautiful house with great views of the river, mountains and farmland. The owner met us at the house to let us in and showed us our room and all the amenities. Before leaving, she arranged a convenient time to return for breakfast, which was delicious! As it happened, we were the only guests that night and had the entire house to ourselves. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay, and I hope to return again for a longer period of time.

Couldn't have been better.
We absolutely fell in love with this bed and breakfast. We chose to stay here simply because it was a half way point for our drive home from a holiday visit to NC, but we will now be visiting just to stay at this wonderful home. The innkeeper, Donna, was welcoming and made us the most delicious breakfast of homemade muffins and eggs with sundried tomatoes. She even makes her own breakfast sausage which was delicious. The bed in our room was cozy and comfortable. Just an allover great stay. Wish we had gotten snowed in there! The outdoors is probably a great place to relax by the river but it was much too chilly for our visit. We do plan to go back in warmer weather for sure.

Nice and cosy cabin in the nature!
Wir haben als Paar (30 Jahre alt) zwei Nächte in diesem BB und der schönen Umgebung verbracht. Das Haus hat viel Charme und war durchgängig Sauber. Das Vermietende Ehepaar war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Essen, dass Donna morgens für uns und die anderen Gäste frisch zubereitete war sehr lecker.
