A great hotel located just at the end of town (but an easy walk in). Clean room with a great bed and a spacious modern bathroom. Great helpful staff and a comprehensive breakfast. I’d certainly recommend this hotel. Do one of their balloon rides, exceptional!

A lovely stay, you will be happy here! I stayed in the single room with balcony and enjoyed a close-up of the balloons being inflated each morning outside the balcony. Staff is accomodating, room is comfortable and clean enough for a budget hotel. The breakfast is basic but it would be nice if they had more vegan options like nuts and legumes, the only vegan options available were fruit. A good location, only 5 minute walk to the city centre and a 1 minute walk to a grocery store that sells packaged food if you don't feel like going to a restaurant. I recommend staying here!

Wonderful and affordable stay in Goreme! I especially loved that they work with Royal Balloon which made getting a hot air balloon ride super easy. I also loved the view of the balloons from the terrace. The staff was very attentive and accommodating! Highly recommend!

Comfortable accommodation, excellent bathroom facilities, professional and friendly staff. Would stay here again without hesitation. Good breakfast though would be nice to have some bar or restaurant services later in the day.

Prime location to see the balloons at 6:00AM, staff is super nice and helpful and if you are going to balloon ride you couldn’t choose a better hotel…Royal is the No.01 balloon company in Göreme, which happens to run a hotel. Everything in Göreme is at walking distance and If you are claustrophobic to cave hotels this is a good option. The rooms are huge, no elevator though, and they do need a little updating and TLC.

Royal Stone House (5 stars)

Royal Stone House is my favorite hotel in Goreme. I have stayed there 3 or 4 times over the years. The staff is amazing, wonderful breakfast every morning and wonderful views. You can see the hot air balloons rise when the weather is good enough for them to be in the air. Highly recommend Royal Stone House.

Staff kindness and excellent service

We were welcomed warmly and found our room clean and with fabulous bathrooms. Our balloon trip had been cancelled due to weather and the staff made every effort to book us on the next day. We had an amazing time and are very grateful to Royal Balloons and all the friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
