This hotel was so welcoming and from when i booked i was made to feel like a very welcome guest. Murat was really welcoming and helpful and sorted out airport collection and my balloon flight. The lady who does breakfast was really lovely and tried to endsure you were well fed. The room was perfect modern with so much character from its surroundings. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.
Great location. Not in the downtown where things are a bit hectic but also not far away. Besides it's close to some decent restaurants around and the famous hill where you have a panoramic view of the whole place.
You may want to directly buy tours from their reception because it's the same price everywhere. (I know because I talked with the tour operator myself ;)
Room was specious and clean. We had some issues with hot water and electricity but they handled it well.
We were leaving early in the morning to catch a flight and the owner himself was courteous enough to get in the kitchen and cook us a nice quick Turkish breakfast.
The hotel facilities were very nice and nearly new. The staff and Murat were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was also amazing. We have only good things to say about this hotel and our stay in it.
Guzide Cave Hotel is close to a mini-store, a couple of great restaurants, and a panoramic viewing point perfect for sunset view of the town and the rock formations, as well as the sunrise view providing intimate encounters with the hot air balloons. It is a short walk from the town center where shops and restaurants line the streets.
The hotel itself is very beautiful like many other hotels in the area. Our room was comfortable.
The staff gave us a warm welcome and made our stay feel like we're home. Emine (the "mother chef"), Felice (housekeeping), Ata, and Eli (who support Murat), were all helpful and fun to talk to.
Murat, the hotel's manager, took good care of our needs. He was very reliable and flexible with booking* the activities. He ensured information were clear from both parties. He also shared great recommendations from restaurants to shops (Yemeni shoes are a must!). The quality of the services he offers reflected the high standards of such recommendations. He knew the area extremely well. He was able to answer our questions adequately.
Our visit to Kapadokya is one for the books. Thanks to Guzide Cave Hotel and to Murat for being instrumental to that.
* Yes, you'll find cheaper option(s) when booking activities in town/outside the hotel; but I'm not sure about their quality or lack thereof.
Dilek&Osman
Amazing hotel! We stayed at 5 places in Turkey, including 3 in cappadocia and by all measures this was best. Clean, well designed room with heated floor....super nice when temperatures dropped down outside. Internet was fast. Breakfast was best of any place we stayed and that's saying a lot since we had some really nice breakfasts in Turkey. A great value and a well run hotel. All the staff were great, looking out for us to make sure we had a comfortable stay.
We stayed at the hotel for four nights. Right after booking the manager got in contact with us to organize our stay. So we could book our airport shuttle service and the balloonflight in advance. Due to weather conditions the balloonflight had to be rescheduled, but the manager took care of that. He also had recommendations for our hiking trips. There are a couple of possible hiking trips around Göreme but there are not a lot of signs on the way, sometimes it is not easy to find.
The hotel is small but that is why we had a very familiar atmosphere. The whole staff was very nice and the breakfast really good.
Organized trips will fetch you at the hotel but if you would rather discover the region on your own, local buses (Dolmus) are very cheap and go regularly in all directions.
AMAZING stay!! The rooms were elegant and so comfortable, the bathrooms modern and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, the lady who cooks the breakfast was so friendly and cheerful in the morning.
Murhaut (the owner) was a fantastic host who goes above and beyond to ensure guest have an amazing time in Cappadocia. Do you self a favor and stay here!
We did stay 3 nights in the hotel and it was really lovely hotel, it was nice located, clean and the owner of the hotel (Murat) was so helpful, he did welcome us and booked us an ATV tour for next day later on he booked our bus ticket to pamukkale with no commission. He is trustworthy and good character also speaks perfect English.. I would recommend his hotel to anyone who is hard to make decision (just like myself) , you will not regret
Thanks for everything Murat

Замечательный отель. Спасибо Мурату и женщине на кухне (к сожалению, не знаем ее имени). Вкусный завтрак. Отличный кофе. В следующую поездку обязательно остановимся еще раз именно здесь.
We liked the location, 5 minute walk down hill to town, 5-10 minute walk uphill to the sunset viewing point. Lovely room and bathroom. We were travelling in Turkey for 3 weeks and this was the best breakfast! Very nice staff too. One criticism- the owner gave us the hard sell on the balloon trip when we arrived, and assured us that we could pay in Canadian dollars...when we arrived at the office on the morning of the balloon trip, we were told that they only take USD, Euros or Turkish lira. We therefore had to pay by Visa, which is an extra 20 euros per person. When we mentioned this to him later, he was really uninterested, which didn't please us....Guess we should have done our homework first. Otherwise a very nice stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. Murat, the owner, lived in the States for several years, so he speaks excellent English and understands the expectations of western travellers. He is currently local to the area and was very helpful with his recommendations about what to see and do. The hotel is less than a year old. It was clean and well-appointed. Our room was bright and spacious. It was opening up to a nice terrace with a good view. Best of all, the travertine floors were heated! Overall, this is a great place to stay.
