"The hotel is on the main street accessed via a side alley with steps and parking is available across the road.
A warm welcome on arrival.
We had room 20 which was spacious and had a view onto the bustling Pantiles street area of TW.
If you are like us a couple staying overnight for a nice dinner and a few drinks, this is actually a perfect place to stay.
On the Sunday morning because we were up early, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel which is à la carte and I must say the coffee was of an excellent standard, akin with Black Sheep, so well done on that front. My partner’s sausage on sourdough was lovely and I had a light Toast/preserves which was also lovely.
Service was understated but good.
No air con but the fan was surprisingly effective.

"Claire was friendly and welcoming throughout the experience, we felt very cared for. Thank you so much, Claire.The Stables Cottage is conveniently located within a 10 minute walk from Tunbridge Wells Train Station, you do not need a car for this break away. An absolutely beautiful shopping and dining out experience awaits visitors along the High Street and The Pantiles, with creatively designed shop windows, arty clothes and craft items, exquisite food served in cafes and restaurants, this is a wonderful treat.Claire recommended that we dine at The Beacon, which overlooks Rusthall Common, it is a truly amazing experience with a glorious walk back down through Rusthall Common and The Common, into The Pantiles shopping area. The Stables Cottage is beautifully decorated, with amazing attention to detail and everything visitors need. It is well designed, has a luxurious deep bath and waterfall shower, comfy king size bed and the location is ideal, down a quiet, cobbled lane, but close enough in town to have easy access to everything the High Street has to offer (just a short 2 minute walk down the lane)We were so very comfortable at The Stables Cottage, we had a marvellous time and hope to return soon.
