"Le chateau est en très bon état, les chambres sont propres malgré leurs age. Le petit déjeuner est un peu limité au choix mais parfaitement frais et bien servis. La proprietaire est très géntille, serviable et arrangeante. Le séjour passé très bien, ça donne envie d'y revenir."

"Rather grand hotel, right in the centre of Loches, which is a beautiful town. Free parking directly outside the hotel. Numerous bars, restaurants and shops within 5 minutes' walk. Excellent stop-over but leave time to explore Loches itself."

"Such a tranquil and beautiful place. We had the best night’s sleep for ages because the cave was cool and the air was kept humid to protect the stone. Céline and Stève were lovely - so welcoming. Stève gave us the fascinating history of the place and in the morning Céline had prepared the most delicious home-made breakfast which we ate in the peaceful pretty garden courtyard in front of our cave. Les Troglos is a gem and our stresses melted away."

"We were very pleased with our suite. It was clean, the air conditioning worked well. Plenty of room for our dog plus a balcony. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our dinner in the restaurant was superb and breakfast excellent. We would certainly stay again."

"Good parking Check out at 10 am is too early for travelers Breakfast poor: we only got a bottle of milk no juice in the refrigerator. Our room has no air conditioner , has a fan instead. Disappointed ,room doesn’t look anything like pictures shown Windows has no screen, so when we open to get fresh air, bugs flown in. Fortunately we only stay one night otherwise I wouldn’t stay longer."

"This is an absolutely delightful little hotel with very warm and welcoming hosts, Vicky and Jean Luc, who went well out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. Our room was simply lovely and the breakfasts were fabulous with freshly squeezed orange juice, really good coffee and delicious croissants, fruit salads and yoghurts. If you are visiting Poitiers or passing through on your way to other parts of France or Europe it is a complete treat to stay here. We were there for five...

"What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain."
