This studio-style suite is bright and colourful, with a skylight that beams natural light into the artistic and charming space.

Featuring french doors, beautiful rustic wooden floors, a plush hand-woven Persian rug, and ceramic tile flooring. A distinct eyebrow window feature matches the optional private bedroom (Selkirk Room), across the hallway.

This suite comfortably sleeps 2-4 people, with the option of adding the Selkirk room and/or the Kokanee Suite to your booking for more space.

Amazing!!!

Great location in Nelson! We parked our car and walked everywhere the whole time we were there. Extremely convenient and it had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a 1-2 people

Fantastic property. Beautiful details, the host and staff were friendly and available, the location close to the lake was perfect, and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool! Lovely cozy apartment

We were really happy with how nice this small apartment was. Very nicely decorated. Everything you needed was there. The bed was particularly comfortable. It's a great location where you can easily walk everywhere. We would come back again, for sure.

Great place if you want to get away.

We were celebrating my wife's birthday and she loves Nelson. This place is in walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants. We spent more time in our room than we originally planned because it was so comfortable and relaxing. The room had everything we need for cooking and we did cook a couple of meals. We even used the gas grill outside. Maria is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. She made a few helpful suggestions of what to do in the area. The pictures on the web are good but the rooms are even better than the pictures. We definitely would recommend staying here.

The property itself was safe and clean, easy access, owners communicated well. Only concern was a homeless encampment adjacent to the rental and when we arrived two men were wandering the property looking in windows and cars.

Short but Suite

The Valahlla suite was better than advertised. Super cozy. Quiet street. Main bed and futon couch bed were very comfortable. Kitchen small but fully appointed. The fridge is only a bar fridge so not tons of storage for fresh food but so many restaurants within walking distance so shouldn't be an issue. Coop grocery also about 5 minutes walk. Maria and Loretta were very responsive via text and phone. Our stay was only for the one night but wish we had more time. Hope we can come back again.

A home away rom home

We were in Nelson in mid July. Our unit was upstairs so I wouldn't recommend it if you have health issues. It was as advertised but the charm is in the details. It's close to everything in Nelson and there is lots to see in the Nelson area. We went up to a provincial park and to Kaslo and returned to our unit in Nelson. it truly felt like a home away from home. It was quiet and had everything needed to make a snack or a full meal. there are many restaurant and good pubs in the area so we ate out most of the time but you don't have to. Maria was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. We would put it on our list of places to stay in Nelson. We had a quiet relaxing stay. A and B Ferguson
