Pedlars Horizon, a serene mountain no home with spectacular mountain views. This cozy sanctuary is close to everything you want at Wintergreen, yet tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac with all the privacy you would expect from a mountain retreat.

As you make the short drive up the Wintergreen mountain, you can start to feel the stress fading away. When you arrive at the home, 20+ steps down lead you to Pedlars Horizon’s yellow front door. Entering this luxurious non-smoking cabin, you'll be greeted by mountain views from the family room, kitchen, deck, office, and master bedroom.

Once inside, you'll find everything you need on one level: two bedrooms (one master/king room with adjoining sunroom and one twin room) share an updated hall bath with tub/shower combo. There is a main-floor office nook with printer and a lovely mountain view, while the heart of the home features a vaulted great room with a stunning mountain view and decorative fireplace adjoining an all-new, on-trend kitchen (c. 2019 with stainless, marble, open shelving, All-Clad, Le Creuset, Nespresso, Keurig, and more). The dining table seats six, while four more can comfortably sit at the breakfast bar.

Pedlars Horizon also offers a second floor master bedroom with sunrise mountain views upstairs (all bedrooms offer room-darkening shades). With the other bedroom on the second floor you’ll find a tranquil garden-view room with a queen bed. The renovated upstairs bathroom features double vanities and a tub/shower combo. A half-walled catwalk leads you to the full-size laundry area with plenty of storage for luggage and gear.

The lower floor provides ample room for games, puzzles, or movie nights, including a second decorative fireplace.

For you skiers, Pedlars Horizon is only a five-minute walk to an access trail to the Tyro ski slope.

Need to check in with work while in the mountains, or want to stream your favorite shows? Pedlars Horizon offers the convenience of lightning-fast internet supporting approximately eight devices running concurrently and smart televisions (main-floor king, lower-level movie room).

Great view in nice home

This house was perfect for our family. It was very well stocked, the furnishings and décor are very nice and the beds were very comfortable with quality bedding. We would definitely recommend this property and stay here again.

Cozy stay in the mountains

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The check in and check out process was very easy, the house was stunning, and views were absolutely beautiful. We were a five min drive from the main wintergreen entrance and a quick 15-20 min from all sorts of breweries, cideries and wineries. We really enjoyed the sunroom off of the main bedroom, the cozy living room and well appointed kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic house for a girls weekend!

Three of us stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a couple of our birthdays. We loved being able to get spa treatments as well as being close to great hikes, wineries and breweries. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. All rooms had very comfortable beds. We especially loved the deck and spent most evenings out there.

Beautiful views - exactly as advertised

Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Plenty of seating for dining and relaxing. Property was private and quiet. The view from the property was wonderful and the Wintergreen Resort lookout points were spectacular. Perfect for large family weekend

Our family of 8 - all adult children stayed for a short ski weekend at wintergreen. The house was as lovely and welcoming as the pictures. Views were beautiful. When one of the adult kids could not managed get the lock to work (user error) the host responded right way to help us get back in the house!! Two of the kids have rented in Wintergren in the past and said this was the best house - location, bed numbers, living area for group time and lovely views. Hope to have another fam weekend here in our future.

Amazing view

The house was very comfortable for five adults. The house was as advertised, in a great location and the view from the the main room was amazing! The bathrooms were on the small side but functional and clean. The main room needs more lighting and new bulbs. The main tv is on the small side which was not a big deal for us but may be for others. Kitchen needs some new pots/pans and a working drip coffee pot; the keurig worked well but it was slow process for all of us. The owner was very responsive when we locked ourselves out. A functional fireplace would be an awesome feature esp in the colder weather. During the turnover process, recommend clearing the mouse droppings as it spoils your initial impression. Overall, would recommend this place. We had a lovely stay and would visit again.

After a rough start to our visit—first, no running water, and second, no hot water—we had a wonderful time at Pedlar’s Haven. Neil was very responsive to our texts about the water issues and made several suggestions for activities during our stay. The view of the mountain from the deck, living room, downstairs den, and top floor bedroom was mesmerizing. We would love to return to this beautiful home.

Our check in was simple and the home was welcoming. The host was very responsive although there were no issues to handle.It was a perfect place for our three generational get away. Three levels and a first floor king master for the senior in our group. The quiet lower level den was great for watching games and a private get away for the teen in the group. As a family of cooks for the Thanksgiving holiday, the kitchen was spacious and well equipped for our preparations. The quality cookware was appreciated. A handy market was just minutes away for some last minute needs.The home was clean, nicely decorated, and conformable. The mountain view was spectacular and two of us took advantage of the morning sunrise events.We enjoyed of the games, music, and TV amenities that were provided.Thanks to our hosts and we hope to return again in the future.
