Perfect Location
Beautiful property as we hosted my Mother's 86th birthday with family. There was ample room inside and outside for entertaining our family. Beautifully decorated with a warm touch like home. A must stay you will not be disappointed and Marta was a gem and she made sure we had all we needed and was always only a phone call away.

Wedding Bliss
We rented Leap Of faith as a family because our daughter was getting married at one of the vineyards. Marta could not have been nicer to work with as we organized for our big event. The house is beautiful, and has a wonderful flow for family to have their own space as well as gathering space. It is a beautiful piece of property in a convenient location; we absolutely loved it.

Perfect Location
We chose this property because of its size and proximity to our daughter’s wedding venue at Glenthorne Farm. The property perfectly accommodated our large family, plenty of space for everyone. The house and setting is beautiful and well maintained. We had a great experience here and loved the quiet location of being at the bottom of the mountain and within minutes of the venue.

Great place to stay!
The house was perfect for a weekend get away for 12 adults and one small dog. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out. The porch also had enough seating for us to enjoy appetizers outside. We loved the back yard and fire pit. Great time was had by all.

Great Stay!
Martha's home was incredible. Accommodated our whole party with no issues as all. Clean & spacious. Great communication. Located right by the ski barn for easy pick up on cheaper rentals. Also right by Devils Backbone for a nice dinner and drinks. Not far at all from the top of the mountain. We would stay again!

Family Vacation
Our family of 9 had a wonderful vacation time at Marta's home. Plenty of space for everyone. Only disappointment was no snow on the mountain :-( but we would definitely stay again. Thanks for the great time.

Fall Family trip
Property was not as advertised as the owner blocked off one of the rooms so there is only 1 king bed available. We were delayed several hours at check in as she got the date confused and was in the house when we arrived. We were also charged an additional fee for our dogs even though when requesting the booking we specifically said they would be with us and their breeds. She stated this was for cleaning even though we had already paid a pet fee along with cleaning fee.

Dear Kerry, I am sorry that you were not happy with your stay. This is the first and only negative review, that I have received in the four years that I have been in operation. First of all the listing clearly states that this property has five bedrooms with only one king bedroom. My private bedroom has always been closed off and it does not have a king bed. Not sure where you got the impression, that this house had two king beds. Secondly the rent included one pet not three, hence the extra fee for the two extra dogs. As far as waiting hours to check in it was only one hour. You arrived at 2pm and check in time is usually 2-3 anyway. You son or son-law was ok going to lunch and we were ready by three pm. I do apologize for forgetting that the check in day was Thursday, not Friday. Clearly my mistake, but after having my daughter's wedding here, things were a bit confusing, to say the least. Again, this was the first time this has ever happened. Sorry for your frustration. Many thanks for leaving everything in such good order and clean. Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Beautiful, spacious house with great outdoor space!
Our family (7 adults, one infant and dogs :) for a wonderful family wedding trip. The house is much larger than I expected, and the kitchens were well equipped. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of seating on each of the 3 levels! We enjoyed playing badminton in the yard, and sitting outside at night to enjoy stargazing! Our host, Marta was very accommodating and accessible, though we had no problems with the property. There is so much to do in the area! We enjoyed hiking to Humpback Rock, and a beautiful wedding at Veritas Winery, Bold Rock Cidery and Brewing Tree Brewing company had an amazing outdoor space with outdoor games and seating. We highly recommend this location and this property is wonderful! We would certainly stay here again!

Just Right for family Wedding Weekend
Leap of Faith was the perfect venue for my family of 11 to stay the weekend while we attended my nephew's wedding in Nellysford. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed a meal in the beautifully decorated dinning room that fit our entire crowd. We spent time in the evening gathered in the living/kitchen combo. Each generation had their own space for bedrooms and they were clean and the beds comfortable. We played and took family pictures in the backyard. We will definitely come back!

Lovely Home!
Marta's home is perfect for a friend and family gathering. Fewer of us stayed than originally intended, but that's Covid for ya! We stayed over our wedding weekend and enjoyed having the ability to spread out or convene in the same parts of the house. The king size bed in the basement apartment is SO comfy and the huge shower is a bonus! Our guests enjoyed the house, and our only note is that the fire pit is no longer allowed by the neighborhood, which was a bummer. Everything else about our stay was perfect!! Thanks Marta!!

Great location
Marta was in touch with us throughout our whole stay. This rental was in a great location close to hiking trails and Breweries. I would recommended getting your groceries at the Kroger before coming to the house. There is a small supermarket 5 minutes away for any essentials you forget, but they may not have everything you need. The house is well equipped with cookware, plates, drink ware and utensils. We did not use any of the Wintergreen resort amenities due to stricter restrictions on guests, but Marta was willing to come and help us obtain passes. Overall it was a great house for a getaway. Plenty of rooms and space for everyone to have their privacy with great outdoor spaces for everyone to hang out together.

Lovely Family reunion
Having our family together in this lovely home was a pleasure. Owned by an interior designer, the decor was gorgeous, with plenty of space and activities for all ages. The house was surrounded by beautiful grounds and trees and nature, yet with easy access to local highlights. The innkeeper seemed to anticipate our every need, and was focused on insuring that we all had a grand time. Preparing and serving meals for our big group was a breeze!

Perfect Vacation
Our family wanted to get away for a bit but go somewhere we felt safe during the pandemic. The house is really large, and we were able to spread out which was really nice after being cooped up together. The house is on a quiet cut-de-sac and had everything we needed. We're already wondering when we can go back!

Beautiful property near wineries
Our 3 kids met us at this beautiful home for Fathers Day weekend. We loved the outdoor spaces which included a deck and fire pit and we enjoyed watching the many birds attracted by bird feeders. Nearby we enjoyed hiking and wineries. We also went strawberry and plum picking. The house was nicely decorated and very clean with everything needed in the kitchen. The owner was very helpful in locating activities. You will not be disappointed!

Weekend getaway at leap of faith.
Leap of faith had everything and more to offer. Marta met us there and gave us a tour of the entire property. It was laid out perfect for our group, we never felt like we were on top of one another, etc. We celebrated 4 birthdays while we were there and were able to enjoy some time at the breweries, which were only a couple of miles away. Leap of faith is conveniently located within a couple of stores, restaurants, and breweries. We made lots of memories here and defiantly plan on visiting Leap of Faith again! Thank you Marta for your wonderful hospitality!

WINTER HOLIDAY WITH FAMILY
This was our second stay in this house. It is beautifully decorated, roomy, comfortable and pleasant in every way. The kitchen is fully appointed. The rooms allow for easy privacy for the several adult couples and quiet for the young ones. We had an enjoyable evening around the fire pit, the youngsters making s'mores, the elders sipping adult beverages, and all enjoying great conversation. I have no doubt we'll stay here again.

Fall fun in Wintergreen.
The house is in a great location for local activities. First year we stayed at the bottom of the mountain so it saved us value travel time. The home is warm and comfortable with nice amenities. Also interesting...we were located in a flight zone for a local glider service and it was fun to watch them fly by.

Lovely home!
We stayed at Marta’s lovely home for a fall getaway with friends and had a wonderful time. Her home is lovingly decorated and cared for, and was spacious enough for 3 families to relax and spread out. We especially loved the fire pit in the backyard and the convenience of walking to the Wintergreen farmers market on Saturday morning. I would absolutely rent Leap of Faith again - we had a great weekend!

Perfect stay for my wedding weekend
My bridesmaids, mom, and myself stayed at leap of faith for my wedding weekend and it was the PERFECT place. Lots of spacious bedrooms and the downstairs area was great for having our hair and makeup done. Marta was super helpful for all our needs and we loved being in her home. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Piece of Heaven on Nelson 151!
Four couples shared this beautiful home with easy and direct access to the winery/brewery/distillery/cidery trail off Rt 151 in Nelson county. Marta's home was spacious, clean and set up great for one large family or three separate families. Since my group was planning to do the wine trail, simple access to 151 was important. We didn't want to be on top of Wintergreen resort, although it was quite accessible. Walking to the farmers market with local crafts and music was a nice way to begin Saturday morning. We also went to a craft market up at Wintergreen resort. The stars were easily visible and fun to view from the lovely back yard and fire pit area. With plenty to do nearby and a lovely house with room to relax in with your friends, and easy communication with Marta, Leap Of Faith made a perfect getaway home. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Warm and Welcoming, a Beautiful and Comfortable Home
We were welcomed by our host Marta who showed us through the house and answered all of our questions and gave us information about the house, the area and local activities. The house, already beautifully decorated, was made more lovely by all the Christmas holiday decorations. The kitchen is well appointed and fully equipped with all the necessary preparation and serving utensils one could ask for. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms and baths well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This house is all we could ask for and is a destination for our future stays in Wintergreen.

Great house with plenty of room
We rent a house every year for our annual float the river trip and the one we normally rent was unavailable. We came across this listing and ended up booking it for our stay. It’s close to Bold Rock Brewing, Devils Backbone and wineries. There’s a store right down the street that you can get your groceries and necessities from. The house is three floors and had plenty of room for our group of 12. Grills on the back decks and a new fire pit! We used that every night. House was clean and had everything that we needed for our trip. We were not disappointed at all.

2 Night Ski Weekend with Friends!
My husband, friends, and I had a blast during our stay. The house fit 11 of us comfortably! There are 5 queen beds, which can sleep 10 adults, so bring an air mattress if you need extra. There is plenty of floor space downstairs for this! We stayed Friday night through Sunday morning. Marta was very hospitable and made us feel comfortable staying in her beautiful home. There are 3 floors... The first floor is beautifully decorated with a large open kitchen which we did use to cook a group dinner. The second floor is suite-like, with a bedroom, bathroom, and living room. Very private. The last floor is the finished basement that leads out to a nice porch and backyard. This floor is overall stunning with a very modern look compared to some other parts of the house. It has a kitchenette and a bathroom with a large walk in shower with heated fan. There's also a coffee maker on every floor for coffee lovers. :-) We were very pleased with the proximity of the house to the Wintergreen Ski Resort (especially since we didn't book very far in advance to stay ON the mountain, and we had such a large group). It took a little over 15 minutes to get to the slopes and most of that time was driving up the mountain. It was actually a very pleasant drive compared to some other resorts we've been to! There's also a small grocery store and a couple restaurants we went to right outside of the development, which made grabbing last minute items very convenient. Overall, we had a great time and stay. Would definitely do it again!
