"We enjoyed our stay at this sweet cottage. The location was wonderful and an easy walk to the spectacular beach where we had our first evening fire on the beach. I will never forget those smores! There were bunnies everywhere and two elk in the neighbor's yard--awesome! The cottage was quiet, clean, and cozy, but a bit dated. After being in the area for a few days, I believe the entire area has this very laid-back, easy, retro, coastal vibe. Coming from Philly, it took us a bit to slow down and enjoy, but I am so glad we did. It was just what we needed. We had some trouble getting locked out with the key-pad; however, after a few calls we got everything worked out. The hosts were friendly and ready to help. We travel a lot and from experience would not say this was a plushie stay; however, it was a sweet stay if you are able to flow with the locals. For those with mobility issues: My husband uses a cane but was able to walk the distance from the cottage to the beach and manage the few stairs to get to the beach. There is a bit of an incline on the road. The beach sand is mostly hard, unlike Florida beaches, so he was able to walk a bit down the beach as well."
