"We liked that it was across the street from Tolovana State Park and beach access. We got excellent weather and a beautiful sunset. We also enjoyed the surrounding peacefulness and quietness of the location. We needed that rather than the business just a few miles to the north. We drove towards the downtown area of Cannon beach, about 2 miles, to eat out and noticed how quickly it felt crowded compared to where we were at Wayside Inn. There was also a nice store right across the street so we could have just eaten in our room if we wanted to. The whole area, both the busy and the quiet, seemed very polite and friendly. It was a great relaxing get away."

It was a little too big for just two people, but we made it work. 😉 I must mention the absolutely fabulous in professional servicing by Cannon Beach Property Management. We have stayed with them for years and won’t stay with anyone else. There are rarely issues, but when there are, they are on it and so pleasant at the same time."

"It was a great location. Heat was a problem on the 2nd floor. It was great having a fireplace on the ground level, where we ended up spending all our time. There used to be a wood stove on the 2nd floor and the stone on the floor was a bit of a tripping hazard. Also one of the smoke detector’s went off a few times for no apparent reason, Maybe it needed new batteries? All in all it was a nice place."

The wi-fi didn't work, but we were able to use our phones. A beautiful home, but the outside could use come maint. & cleaning."
