The manager was really kind, even getting up in the middle of the night to welcome us. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Room was a good size and very clean. We had a tuk tuk tour of Negombo organised by the hotel. Thank you for looking after us so well

Shangri-La Colombo
Probably, if not the best hotel in Colombo. I was assigned to a room that faces the sea as well as Biera Lake. The hotel, which is also accessible through one of the largest mall is a huge bonus. Marino Beach Colombo
This is a great hotel, I really couldn’t fault it. Scrupulously clean, and the staff are fantastic, friendly, courteous and welcoming. The laundry deserves a special mention, they ironed my complicated trousers perfectly, far better than I can do it! Well done.

At check-in, we were told our room was not ready even though we arrived 2 hrs after check in time, when I questioned why that was the case for a “5 star” hotel, they miraculously found another room available to give us, figure that! There were plenty of friendly staff, but they were not attentive. ...
