"Lovely hotel in the port, walkable to the old town and boat trips. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and a gluten free section which was fab. We will definitely be back."

"The room was gorgeous. We got a 3rd floor room where the view was Not obstructed by trees. That was a great choice. The staff were friendly. The free breakfast was a solid start to the day. I loved the fresh honey combs on GF bread. The restaurant was not great. It was overpriced, never busy, and the octopus was chewy. We got the best table with a great sunset view at peak dinner time which was lovely. It’s a bit of a trek to the port but walk the promenade not where Google Maps tells you to go. The beach at this hotel is amazing. We spent a day lounging and swimming. Boats pick you up right there for excursions. There’s a market 5 minutes away with everything you’ll need to eat or drink. We had the beach to ourselves two nights. We watched the amazing sunset with a bottle of wine then the moon and stars. So Peaceful!! Overall this is a fabulous place to stay, I hope they can up the dinner game a bit."

"We stayed in Superior Room 21, and it was charming, comfortable, and well-appointed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even preparing a bagged breakfast for our early morning flight. The hotel is also just a short walk to the promenade, making it a great location. We would gladly stay here again."

"Overall, the hotel was a good experience. However, we paid for a sea view room, and got to our room and the sea viewwas completely obstructed by trees. They should not ever consider that room as a sea view. We flagged this and they moved us, but only had a room with 2 beds that needed to be pushed together, which wasn't ideal and we still had trees in our way but it wasn't a complete obstruction. But we paid for a full sea view, not a partial one, which was disappointing. The property is a little tired and needs to be power washed. The rooms were fine. The showers don't have doors, so water gets everywhere and soaks all the way over to the sink. A bath mat doesn't stand a chance, so don't put one down, it'll get completely soaked. The pool isn't kept very warm. We learned that the European way is to say it's "refreshing" instead of "cold". Felt the same as the sea, to be honest. The location is super walkable into town, which was great! The bedding was nice and soft and the beds were comfortable! And the hotel sends a van down when each ferry lands and offers to take your luggage for you, which was super convenient!"
