"When we arrived the woman checking us in (who appears to be the manager/a senior member of staff) did not seem interested in helping us or trying to communicate (as we don't speak Italian). She seemed to take an immediate dislike to us and mostly ignored us/visibly made other staff members deal with us during our stay, was basically very rude. This wasn't simply a language issue as although most people we met in Sardinia did not speak English, they were generally happy to try to help us and...

"Giovanni, Sall and the staff were brilliant. The staff were very helpful at all times and very welcoming.
If anyone is booking I would suggest booking a room with a balcony which is what we had overlooking the pool area.
Breakfast was great and dinner was good particularly the mushroom risotto.
My only feedback would that there needs to be more menu choice for those that have paid for half-board. Perhaps three options per course rather than just two.
Overall a very nice stay for the two days that we were there."
"I visited the resort with my wife and my son (15yo).
The resort is nice, the architecture is characteristic, small houses and not a big building.
The room was too small for three persons.
No gym (one treadmill out of order and few weights).
The Valtur animation was good (good shows after dinner and activities during the day for teenagers).
The beach (5-7 minutes walking) was too crowded, just a small area reserved to the resort.
Two nice swimming pools, but they close at 6pm.
The food was average, not bad but not really good.
The worst part was the "All inclusive" concept, it was quite vague. Just soft drinks were included, no cocktails (7-10 Euro each), and even more strange, Coke was included but Diet Coke was not. Not recommended for people visiting expecting a real All-Inclusive. "
"Best hotel ever, absolutely gorgeous. Amazing pool incredible food, some of the best pasta of my life. Such a fun, beautiful space so many cool areas to explore. This was the best place we went in Sardinia, highly recommend! Only complaint - bad coffee. Otherwise, just perfect "
"The hotel is very charming. The dining area is lovely. Breakfast was good-meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, pastries. The pool was nice. The rooms definitely leave something to be desired. They are very plain & just a room w a bed & tv & dresser. Nothing fancy but fine. The ac works nicely. And the bathroom is small but seemed recently updated. Plenty of parking. About a 10 min walk to beach with a couple of restaurants there. Paid parking at the beach that takes card. Overall we liked it and would stay again. "
"Our second visit to the Costa Caddu, just as amazing as the first 4 years ago. It's not often we stay in the same place twice, but we will definitely come back again. The hotel buildings, and grounds are beautiful, and immaculately kept. The pool area is spacious and peaceful. The inside of the hotel is traditional Sardinian, and very beautiful. We stayed on half board basis, and the meals and service were excellent. All the staff were so friendly, and helpful. The bedrooms are all on ground level, and are very clean, quiet and comfortable. Nearest beach 10 minus walk, and it's lovely.
It is advisable to have a car, as the hotel is in a quiet area, which is what we like.
A big thank you to all the staff at the wonderful Hotel Costa Caddu. ❤️"
"It was a great property. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The grounds were kept very nice. The only upgrade I could suggest is that they clean the beach more thoroughly from seaweed and rocks. But other than that, I highly recommend this property."
