"Not ready for international travlers. Contacting the hotel through the messaging system proved to be of no use. After our wedding we were to spend time to ourselves only to be unpacked and ready to use the shower. There was no hot water then the water coming out of the basin was brown. We had to get drressed, repack everything to be moved in the rain to another room. In the other room I found the screw used to secure the lid of the toilet to have come loose, sticking up on the toilet seat. Have your tetanis injections up to date if you dare to visit. Break fast took 10 mins to arrive ALL cold. Backon, suasage and baked beans (I belive the beans were counted as we were to get 10 beans each in total)"
"the room was clean, shower water temperature was hot; only saw 2 small roaches, one around the refrigerator and another near the bathroom sink wall. The group of young hospitality workers were very hard working and courteous. The free breakfast was excellent. The pay for meals at the restaurant for lunch and dinner was also excellent . The hotel seems to be a older structure and probably time to invest in remodeling. "
"Decent hotel in Ndola, needs some work, shower doors where broken, could do with a mirror in the bedroom near a plug socket as only a mirror in the bathroom and no socket. No hairdryer, just easy fixes"
"Clean room excellent customer service, good location. Outdated deco and furniture. Ac and hot water. All in all, brilliant stay for the modest price. "
"Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent stay, which was booked through Hotels.com.
While Hotels.com is generally a reliable platform, my experience at the hotel was extremely disappointing and stressful due to poor handling of payment verification and communication.
Upon arrival for check-in, I was asked to wait for over one hour while the hotel attempted to confirm my payment. Despite presenting clear proof of payment, I was repeatedly asked to provide the same information multiple times. I was informed that I could remain at the hotel while they tried to confirm the payment with Hotels.com.
The following day, I was advised that the accountant wanted to speak with me. I went to the reception and waited for more than 30 minutes; however, he did not attend. I was then informed that I would need to pay again because the hotel claimed that payment from Hotels.com had not been received. I explained that this is the payment method I consistently use and that if there was an issue, the hotel should contact Hotels.com directly or allow time for the payment to be processed. I also showed proof indicating that the payment was still “in progress.”
Despite this, I continued to be pressured to make an additional payment. Furthermore, I was asked to pay extra for breakfast for another person, which added to the frustration of the situation.
Overall, the experience was unprofessional, inconvenient, and far below acceptable hospitality standards."
"Good Day, please note that we did not even book into your lodge. Just arriving at the reception was a great shock, the number of males sitting around and making comments. Made me want too just leave, asked to see the room and that was another shock. Dirty bug running around the room and on the bed.
No this is unacceptable, to all travelers please do not even waste your time to book this lodge. Very Very Bad "
"The staff were very helpful. I did have to show proof that I had made payment for the booking beforehand as they did think that I did not pay. However the staff were helpful when I had questions and the room was lovely"
