"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the peacefulness and quietude of the private reserve, as well as the great views of the hills. A little bit out of town, and there is a winding, relatively narrow dirt track that you have to drive up to access the rooms. Accommodation was very clean and well kept and staff were helpful and friendly. Was a little surprised the rooms weren’t totally self-contained considering the location is a bit out of the way- we were expecting there would be laundry...

This place is perfect! 2 minute walk to the beach, amazing rooms, and great food. The staff were really accommodating and generous with their support for activities and queries. On a rainy day, I decided to book a treatment at the spa and it was excellent! My favourite aspect of this venue was their display of South African artists. I adored the art and even managed to visit some of the artists studios after leaving the hotel to make purchases. Highly recommend this venue.
