"The hotel is in a good location, however the location is so centrally located the bars are playing loud music late. It’s not so bad on the weekdays but the weekends it goes pretty late. Even with a white noise machine we brought you could still hear the bass. Facing the plaza would definitely be the loudest. In the summer with no heat on we still needed to have the window open to get a cooler temperature. Which of course makes things louder. Other than the noise everything was great. There are some pretty good restaurants near the hotel as well."

"The room was cleaned. Housekeeping only on request. Room was very basic, nothing like the 4 stars in other countries. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very basic. We had dinner in the restaurant on the day we arrived. It was 9pm, kitchen was about to close and they still served us. We enjoyed the meal."

"My family of five greatly enjoyed our stay in Reykjavik. The flat provided a nice, cozy central base where we took many day trips exploring Iceland. It was very easy to get to groceries, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The check-in process was a little confusing, but Bjarni was incredibly responsive and ready to help. In the evenings the on-site parking was sporadically available, but we never had an issue with street parking. We would definitely stay there in the future."

"Love the separate mud room as there was much snow when we visited. Great to keep shoes and coats in while keeping the room clean. Apartment was very clean as well, and check-in was super smooth and I loved the location for my family. Would book again for sure. However the reason for 4 stars was more for the property and not the room. Our room was on the first floor sharing a window that was the entire size of a wall with the parking lot and it was noisy every time someone came into the building. Secondly I could not get one of the clothes dryers to work. It may have been user error on my part since it was all in a language I’m unfamiliar with, however the second dryer worked fine."

"One of the most comfortable accommodations we have stayed at. Beds were super comfortable. Everything is walking distance to groceries, bus stops, cafe. We had the best time in Iceland. The host was super accommodating to all of our needs. "
