"Clean room, pillows and bed comfortable. Water pressure in shower low. Room 301 had car noise at 6am and onward- so ask for a quiet room. Walked to attractions. Staff are wonderful!"

"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We were especially helped at the front desk by the kindness of a young woman and a young man (with a name that I think was an Italian version of Pedro) who helped us Sunday morning, March 8th, with many tips and instructions on getting a bus out to San Rafael de Escazu. Very impressive. The waiters and waitresses in the restaurant were also very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a comfortable, safe, stay in San Jose."

"I am not sure what others have rated the property on. The ratings seem very misleading! The bathroom was not clean and needs some serious repairs. There wasn’t a full-service kitchen and/or bar. The breakfast was extremely basic. I did not like the neighborhood either. Seemed to have a lot of homeless population. If you can spend 20-25 dollars more then find a better accommodation. I wouldn’t stay at this property again. "

"I didn't realize the hotel caters to men seeking paid female companions. My wife and I found it to be an unpleasant situation, though it is legal in Costa Rica. Everything else about the hotel was great."
