"Quietly surprised with this hotel, wasn't expecting much when i booked. However on arrival, we were greeted with a easy book in system, a swanky modern reception area and went to the room.
Bed was a little small, but the room was really nice.

Their courtesy, respect and helpfulness was always genuine. "This property provides a unique experience. It is like taking a step back in time because it was a working cruise ship once upon a time. The rooms are spacious, not like current cruise cabins. The beds are soft, not firm. The amenities in the room and bathroom are similar to what you’d find at any decent hotel.
The staff are friendly and welcoming from the moment you approach the property. We were greeted outside by the bell captain who helped us with our luggage and brought us aboard to the guest services area. People at the front desk are very helpful.
Food in the restaurant was ok. Beef brisket should have been more tender, but meals that others had were fine.
The location is close to the cruise port, which was great because we were sailing on Holland America and this hotel provides free shuttle service to the cruise terminal. This service was excellent! They took our bags right to the ship so embarkation was easy. I would definitely recommend this property. They also offer discounted tours of the ship for hotel guests. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to take advantage of this. "
