Vacation in the heart of historic Natchitoches in this renovated apartment. Design inspiration comes from the folk art of the late Clementine Hunter. Enjoy all that the city has to offer: restaurants, shopping, churches, historic sites and front street are right outside your door.
You will love this location. Take a horse drawn carriage tour, river boat cruise, tour the historic homes. Stroll down to take a look at the Steel Magnolia House. There is so much to do and see in close proximity.
The apartment is nestled inside of a historic home built in the early 1900s. Clementine is a comfortable escape with all of the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. This is a private apartment and is not a shared space. There are three private apartments located within this home and yours is Unit C in the rear of the house.
Enter through the door and into a large open living space. There is a dining table and four chairs on your left for enjoying meals with family and friends. There is a large island with 4 bar stools. The right side is your living room with a sofa and two chairs. There is a 55” Roku TV on the wall. It is in guest mode and ready for you to stream all of your favorite shows. Cable TV is not provided.
The kitchen is a galley style and is equipped with dishes, pots & pans, microwave and taster. There is a dual K-cup single cup coffee maker alongside a traditional coffee pot. We will provide K-cups, creamer and sugar to get you started. If you prefer ground coffee, bring your favorite along with you. Kitchen does not have a dishwasher. There is a refrigerator/freezer and it does not have an ice maker. There is a kettle on the stove for boiling water.
The first bedroom has a Queen bed and night stand. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and two night stands with USB ports and outlets to charge all of your devices. The lamps are touch activated. There is a closet with a hanging rod, iron and small ironing board in the rear bedroom. You will also find a luggage rack in both bedrooms to make living out of a suitcase a bit easier. The bathroom is located just inside the first bedroom.****** Please note that you do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. This does not allow for privacy in the first bedroom. *** It is a shotgun style layout. There is a vanity and custom tile shower in the bathroom. There is no tub in this unit. The barn door on the bathroom locks from the inside. We do provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a blow dryer. Towels and washcloths are provided.
Clementine has been recently renovated. We feature the art of Clementine Hunter in the living, dining and kitchen areas. All framed photos were taken by the host during her many trips to Natchitoches over the years. You can read more about Clementine and Natchitoches in the books on the coffee table. If you are traveling with a group consider renting our other apartment in the same house “The 403.” We hope that you enjoy visiting Natchitoches!

We enjoyed our stay at this property in Natchitoches! Walking distance to Front Street for dining and shopping, clean accommodations, furnishings as pictured, we had everything we needed!
The Clementine is ideally located, just a couple blocks from historic downtown and a short drive to the main strip. The unit itself was very clean and the host stayed in touch. Thank you for another excellent stay!
Clean and comfortable. Easy walk to all of the activities in town, so no struggle finding parking. Could even walk to church. Host was very considerate.

The property is easy to get to and walking distance to historic downtown. It was nicely decorated and pleasant on the inside. It is right on cane river as well. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and living room were spacious and comfortable. The host provided the wealth of information and was quick to answer any questions. She’s extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the community. Highly recommend.
Our family of four couldn't be more pleased with this property. The location is a very short walk to downtown. The house is spotless and well equipped. The host communicated well from beginning to end and even checked on us during the stay.
Great stay. Wonderful unit. New amenities and all necessary items including in the kitchen. Walking distance to town and university. Host very easy to communicate with and the check in and check out easy!
Apartment was clean and we had everything needed. The restroom is only accessible through one of the bedrooms. Not actually a house but an apartment attached to a house.

The location of this rental was perfect. It was an easy walk to the Historical downtown area & the river was in our back yard. The unit was updated tastefully. Natchitoches’ Christmas lights & firework show were beautiful.
The cottage was very roomy, clean, neighborhood was quiet.
Perfect location for walking the heritage downtown homes or shopping. Also right across the Cane River minutes from the main strip to find what ever you may want or need. From fast foods, grocery stores, drug stores, etc. We felt comfortable and safe!
