The property was clean and neat. We had a good checkin experience with our host. The only issue we had was the water in the bathroom. It was a mere trickle at the sink. When I took a shower, the hot water ran out before my shower was done and I had cold water.

Nice surprise in a not so nice neighborhood.

It is a three room B and B in a non-tourist part of town and does not have full time staff. There were delays and language issues during check in (check in process took an hour). It is a very creative remodel of an attic space (with some low ceiling areas) with new finishes and nicely decorated. Half way between a VRBO and a conventional hotel. Comfort was very good. Great value. Convenient to airport and downtown.

Cosy place to stay in Naples

La Mansarda consists of three cosy ensuite rooms in a penthouse flat with a communal kitchen. Situated in Borgo Sant'Antonio Abate, the area is more residential than touristy yet it's only 10-15 min walk from the main railway station. The market on via Sant'Antonio Abate, just a few blocks away offers a very authentic Naples experience. The best thing about La Mansarda is the impeccable service and care offered by the hosts, they really do go the extra mile to make their guests feel at home.

Perfect location

Perfect location for our 1 night in Naples, to catch an early morning flight. Eduardo was helpful & arranges a taxi for the next day, for us. The apartment is beautifully decorated & the aircon was wonderful as it was a very hot evening! I would stay again.

Overall very satisfied with the stay. the host was friendly and helpful. Was only disappointed to know that the breakfast is a coupon to a bakery and it entitles you to 1 drink and 1 snack (together 3 € ). It is good but we expected the normal buffet breakfast.

Everything is superb in this property. The communication with Claudia and Eduardo was excellent. They were both very accomodating and always ready to reply when you have queries. The room was quite small but i didn’t find it as a problem because it was a very cozy room to be honest. It was spotlessly clean. It would have been nice if there was a bathtub but since we only stayed one night, i don’t think i mind it all. Absolutely amazing stay.

The host Christian was lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Room was great, air-con worked brilliantly, comfy bed, good bathroom. Kitchen facilities available too. Not too long a long walk to the nearest Metro. Would definetly stay again.

I really recommend a stay at "La Mansarda"! The room was really comfortable and functional. The apartment was clean and really pretty. Breakfast was delicious too! Il B&B La Mansarda, gestito con professionalità e passione da Christian e lo zio Eduardo, rappresenta la sistemazione ideale per visitare la città di Napoli. Infatti, essendo stato ristrutturato di recente, è ben arredato, comodo e dotato dei moderni dispositivi elettronici che facilitano l’uso di tutti i servizi. Inoltre, poiché è situato in via Garibaldi, a poca distanza della Stazione Centrale, io e mio marito abbiamo potuto raggiungere a piedi il centro storico e i luoghi più interessanti di Napoli: Via dei Tribunali, Via S. Gregorio Armeno, via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, ecc. Ma ciò che ha reso il nostro soggiorno a Napoli un’esperienza veramente rilassante è stata la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Christian nel cercare di soddisfare, nei limiti del possibile, le nostre esigenze, compresa quella di consentirci di lasciare il giorno della nostra partenza le valigie nel B&B fino alle cinque del pomeriggio, dato che il nostro treno partiva alle 17,45. La Mansarda is a delightful urban surprise. If you want a culturally enriching Neapolitan experience — La Mansarda is the place to be. Skip the pretentious concierge or manicured hallways of an expensive hotel. Nestled within a vibrant neighborhood of pizzerias, scuoli, neat laundry-hanging patios, and small home-grown businesses, La Mansarda is a leisurely 15 minute walk to Piazza Garibaldi where more adventures await. The living space is understandably tight but is strategically organized and artistically designed. Hats off to the superb Staff whose accommodating efforts exceed all expectations. Claudia is always accessible online for questions and last-minute requests. Christian and Eduardo provide excellent local transportation services. The Staff ensures that the room is cleaned up on the third day, or upon request. We departed Italy with a longing to return to a place called La Mansarda, the heart of a home away from home. Highly recommended, no doubt! Grazie mille for the valuable gift of hospitality.

The owner was so sweet. He helped us with the parking. For those who come with a car, there is a private parking lot at the Via Giambattista Lorenzi. Good location, walking distance to the old town. Not so far from restaurants and bus-stops. Room was perfect. Good bedding, good amenities. There is a small fridge in the room and a big kitchen in the common area. You will get coupons for free breakfast at a cafe nearby. It was so-so though. To sum up, we don't like Neapels for some reasons. But we really love this B&B, you made our days!

Eduardo and Claudia were exceptional hosts. Not only were they friendly, the room was very comfortable, clean and stylish. They also went the extra mile to help us print our boarding passes as well as order a taxi for the early morning to the airport. I would recommend staying here if visiting Naples. Very kind and extremely helpful staff. The apartment/bed and breakfast is maintained to a high standard and sound insulated from the very chaotic noise of Naples. Very welcoming and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city. About 20 mins walking distance to the main station and 15mins drive from the airport. The staff are exceptional at making you feel at home and ready to help at all times.
