Also, just a note that the tastings now take place in a large (but comfortable) party tent, erected after the August earthquake severely damaged the historic Eshcol Winery building (1886) that had been their tasting room.

I wish I could properly convey how much we enjoyed our stay here. I came with two kids and my husband. From the moment we set foot into the room, our jaws dropped. It was breathtaking. The room was meticulously well-appointed. The mini kitchenette came with a two burner stove, microwave, toaster, fridge and all the utensils and kitchen tools needed to make for delicious meals. The daily Bouchon delivered to our doorstep and complimentary eggs was such a charming addition that brought smiles to all of us. The bathroom heated floors and large shower space gave such a relaxing spa feel without having to step foot in one. The housekeeping staff is among the most detail oriented I’ve seen and the entire room was spotless. We really truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The warmth from the staff and the tasteful decor effortlessly pulled us away from our devices and allowed for some true R&R. What a hidden gem. This place is every bit worth what you pay.
