"The property is very aged. The furnitures in the room are very cheap. The whole place feels more like a low cost student hostel than a hotel. For the price, it's certainly not worth it."

"Very nice room, only thing possibly missing was a desk (some other rooms have them), but I didn't need one anyway. Staff very helpful when I needed anything. Free pool table, snacks, coffee downstairs. Didn't check out the gym, bar or restaurant though. At the time of writing, google maps plots two locations for "Episode Hsinchu", and one is wrong! Make sure you look for hotel episode hsinchu. Area not too interesting, but cabs aren't expensive anyway. There's a ubike stand right outside which is handy."
