The grounds are outstanding- full of plants, a lovely open air building and fire pit. The breakfast was also lovely- hard boiled eggs, veggies, cold cuts and also typical breakfast fare. The rooms are renovated, simple and clean. It’s an old motor lodge that has a vintage feel with modern updates.

It is a decent small family hotel. The hosts are easy to reach and very friendly. The breakfast is better than ordinally continental breakfast with ham, chess, and salami.

We had a wonderful stay at Veranda Cape Cod Family Resort! This family-owned gem truly exceeded our expectations. The renovated rooms were immaculate, stylish, and very clean — you can tell there’s a thoughtful touch in every detail. The beds were super comfy, and the property was spotless throughout. The fact that it’s pet-friendly was a huge plus for us, and the included breakfast was a nice start to the day. The cozy lounge area with the fire pit was perfect for winding down in the evening. Special thanks to Mama Jay, Andrew, and their sons who went above and beyond to make sure guests felt welcome and taken care of. Their hospitality made all the difference. Perfect location, peaceful vibes, and great value — we’re already planning to come back next year!

The property is a converted old fashioned motel. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Proprietors were very friendly and called to make check in arrangements as we were arriving a bit late which was much appreciated. The common areas are all very nice and offer more of a boutique experience. The breakfast spread was ample and very fresh.

We loved everything about our stay! The room was modern and very clean. Quiet surroundings, lovely grounds and dog play space. A Hidden Gem!

I loved the Veranda Cape Cod Family Resort. It was recently renovated; room was clean and very nicely decorated. Modern decor, with tasteful art work and books. I especially loved the breakfast, the fire-place and the people. We met many Europeans and travelers from all over who came together in the morning for a friendly breakfast. Very unique and special place.

The owners are onsite and obviously care. The pool and grounds were very well cared for. Wifi was not even usable. The high pet fee was a bad surprise, if the amount was listed we probably would have looked elsewhere

Mother-Daughter memory trip

Our stay at Veranda from start to finish was excellent! Our trim had clearly been renovated, was freshly and brightly painted and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable and we were so grateful for quiet, comfortable air conditioning due to muggy weather. The grounds at Veranda are absolutely stunning, well tended to, and with a variety of sitting areas, grills, and fire pits. The outdoor pool area was also very beautiful and clean. One of our favorite amenities at Veranda was the unique building housing coffee, tea and continental breakfast. Such a bright spot to begin each day, very clean, well stocked and a terrific use of space. Thank you Jay and family for helping to bring such a memorable trip to fruition for us! Well done! We’ll be back!

There was no mention of a $ fee for pets. That should have been upfront. And because it was a "fee" there should not have any sale taxes imposed. Had I known it would be $50 extra; I would have looked elsewhere. So PLEASE..when you promote a "pet friendly" listing, Alert when there is (or not) a fee. Very misleading

Needed a room for an overnight stay for a wedding in the area. Person who checked us in was a little rude. Was going to charge us more for an extra person. Then proceeded to follow us into our room. Fake deadbolt on door, only the handle locked. Didn’t seem very secure. AC never would turn on.

Wonderful veranda with couches and tables protected from the elements. They serve a wonderful breakfast with a fabulous cappuccino/latte coffee maker. It’s amazing coffee. Also A beautiful pool area and a grill with picnic tables.

Nice little motel ... updated and clean. Great breakfast, and nice grounds with a pool. The common area (for breakfast or relaxing with friends and guests) was quite charming. Our room was smaller than expected but we were out and about anyway, so it was okay. Quality of TV could be improved ... the reception was not good. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!
