"Was a great stay for one night.. the room was set up great with a view of long lake from the balcony...bed was comfortable and coffee machine served good coffee...the breakfast was limited no hot food basic coffee and croissant toast bagel...easy check in and out..staff was accommodating...only issue I had was I had to pay $10 dollars for free parking because I booked through expedia and not the hotel...would stay again and recommend it"

"Our stay was fine. Our room was clean and well appointed, with a comfortable king sized bed. We were surprised to find that there were no robes to wear to the pool. At the pool there was one shower in the ladies washroom, with no place to change after showering. This facility was not what I have experienced in a Marriott previously. To be fair the pool was a good size and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the check in and checkout procedures were slow. The software was so slow and our room was not ready at check-in time even though the hotel did not seem to be busy. We were given a room on a lower floor although we had booked a room on a higher floor. This change was not given at a lower rate. In conclusion, the hotel provided a comfortable room and the location in downtown Nanaimo was convenient, but service could be smoother."

"The location of this property was perfect for our little family. We prefer something a little quieter on vacation and this was quiet and peaceful, yet still extremely accessible to both Parksville and Nanoose Bay towns. Further, it was a 2 minute walk to a beautiful rocky beach. We had a wonderful time putting our feet in the ocean and exploring. They also have access to amenities for adults and children such as a playground, kids pool, and hot tub. The actual unit was small but cute and clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The only small thing was the outdoor patio was private, but no view of outside. Otherwise, check in was smooth, our host was attentive and communicative, and we would definitely stay here again!"
