Comfortable, clean, welcoming, updated. Close to pool, opens onto green space, partial ocean view.

This was our second year staying in this unit. We can’t see ourselves choosing to stay anywhere else when in Parksville. This place is so comfortable, it feels like home away from home to us. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, living space feels like home, great bbq, proximity to pool can’t be beat, partial ocean view. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay both years we have enjoyed the Turnbull vacation home. We will plan well in advance to work out our vacation time around the availability of the property. Melissa, thank you once again for opening your vacation home to us. We look forward to our next visit!

Good Value and Great Owner

We stayed here for Jan and Feb and had a very enjoyable stay. This is a ground floor unit that overlooks the pool with a peek a boo view of the ocean. The complex is well kept. One day when we had a lot of snow the staff came and shovelled a path to our car. We often saw deer and once a family of racoons. There are lots of birds around and we often heard harbour seals and occasionally owls. Melissa was very easy to work with and is a very conscientious owner. When we first arrived we had issues with the shared internet connection of the complex. She brought in her own internet feed which is the fastest internet available. So now you can easily connect all your devices and stream anything you want. Thank you for everything Melissa.

Resort Drive Parksville

We liked the location near the beach and Rathtrevor Provincial Park. The condo was comfortably set up for us and we enjoyed the last day of the outdoor pool and the hot tub in the evenings.

We loved Parksville

We absolutely loved staying in this property as a family. The house comfortable and was stocked with absolutely everything we needed. Our children loved the pool just steps from our patio and we loved the quick access to the beach. We are already dreaming of coming back.

Our stay was excellent!

The property is situated on Rathtrevor beach, easy access to the beach. It has great outdoor space outside the condo, clean, fresh and nicely updated. The outdoor pool and hot tub was great for our 9 year old daughter. Great family accommodation!

The location was perfect...having a toddler with us,the lawn area..play ground and pool was perfect.. We weren’t informed the hot tub was not running which was a bit of a disappointment.. The condo it self was nice but wasn’t as clean as we would of expected.. Those issues aside it was a nice stay..

Great condo, cleanliness & experience!

Great stay and location! Lots of amenities and beach toys for kiddos to use. The location is great just a short walk to the beach down the path. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again :)

Perfect accommodation for our family!

The condo was wonderful, very clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable in all ways. There was easy access to the beach, walking and biking paths. The pool was a hit with our daughter!

Exceeded our expectations

The property was very inviting and the extras were much appreciated. We were very comfortable, enjoyed movie nights and quality time here. We are a family of 5 from Calgary and this was actually one of our best vacations. We spent the good part of a day on Hornby Island and explored tide pools at Helliwell Park. The starfish were really neat to see. We loved seeing Rathtrevor beach at all different tide levels. It was great having both a beach and a pool! We also had an especially fun day downtown Victoria - we happened to be there for the annual No Cars YYJ day! We did do a whale watching tour and saw nothing but everything else was spectacular. The five of us absolutely loved this getaway!

Our winter vacation in Parksville

We were very pleased with your condo. Clean, well maintained and well equipped. Exactly as advertised, no surprises. The only points we would make would be no TV in the master bedroom and a larger TV in the living room. Also the sink in the bathroom was very slow to drain. We poured some Draino in but it did not help. No hesitation to recommend the condo to anyone.

Great family vacation

We really enjoyed the location of this great little condo. This complex is a bit older but it is very well maintained. The layout of this unit is perfect, loved the large bathroom and tub. The unit was clean and extremely well stocked with everything you need. The washer and drier is in another building and is coin operated. There is no AC but I’m sure fans are fine most of the year. The unit provides 2 fans which is great but we happened to bring one with us and we used all three as we did find it a bit stuffy. We enjoyed taking long walks while the tide was out and appreciated the beach toys and chairs. This is definitely a great place to come for a fun filled family vacation. We would definitely return.

We had stayed in the complex before but this was our first private stay and the condo had everything we wanted. The 5-burner BBQ was new and worked well. The only appliance missing was a toaster oven. Lots of spare paper products and soap et al. Even light bulbs. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room because it was a little chilly in the evenings. Full-sized fridge and stove. Chairs for the beach. The only thing that would have made this excellent overall would be a better view of the bay.

rental of condo on Rathrevor Breach

We found the condo to exceed our expectation. Very clean with many unexpected supplies, hand soaps, laundry detergent, dish washer detergent, etc., etc. The fireplace gave a special ambiance and added warmth when needed. The unit is 2 minutes from the water and we explored countless trails as well as a short beach walk to Rathrevor beach park. We leave here on January 14 to travel to California but will return on February 1 for another month and a half. We highly recommend to anyone to rent this unit as it is very good value for the cost.

Wonderful stay. Amazing place, amazing view!

This was the perfect place for us. Lots of room in a well maintained condo. Melissa was super easy to work with ensuring we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We had a longer term stay as we were moving to the island. She helped me with finding local schools, grocery stores etc. The condo itself was beautiful and in a perfect location. The beach is right down the path. The kids loved to pool and the hot tub. It really was everything we needed to get started on our island adventure. Thank you Melissa

Awesome vacation rental

We stayed for 4 nights in this vacation rental in June and had the most amazing weather, it was sunny and beautiful every day. We rented the place for a relaxing family vacation with our 7 month old and it was the perfect place. We loved the pool and hot tub, the beach, and the location. The rental was very nice, updated, comfortable, had everything you would need, clean and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to go with their kids. At the end of our trip we didn't want to leave, we had such a great time and would definitely stay again.
