"The house is spacious and well equipped, however two weeks after we check out the host sends us a message accusing us of causing damage to the property. We had no issues nor did we cause any damage to anything inside the home what so ever. He waited two weeks to then falsely accuse us plus he had no proof to show that no one else entered or stayed at at the property after us. This felt incredibly uncomfortable especially when he sends us a request to pay for a broken dresser that we again did not break. No photos with a time stamp to prove that this was caused during our stay. Why wait two weeks if this damage was noticed upon our check out? Very strange. I don’t know if this is some kind of scam or him trying to have people pay for damage that someone else did but beware. This type of accusations were completely uncalled for and very unfair and disappointing. Due to this I would look somewhere else to stay and we will never return."

"I saw 9.4 stars and read the reviews, but missed that it was a self check in lodge. I chose because of the high number..there was supposed to be a restaurant the Jeffrey Room but is was not there..closed. there was no cable tv...so could only use Netflix, etc. Of which I did not have passwords along. There was supposed to be air conditioning...there was but it was a portable one with warnings on the top that using it while having other things plugged in it could blow the breaker...which we were scared to do. There was some fans in the room that we used as it was very warm in the room. It was quiet though..."

"Super clean, really nice room. We weren’t sure about the hot tub. It was self check in so no one to ask about it. It was covered behind a gate. Not a big deal but would be nice if there was a sign to let us know if we could use it."

"We held a multi generational family long weekend at this lovely grand mountain lodge! For 6 adults and two kids it was perfect as there was plenty of room to spread out! Kids had the lower bunk room with TV to escape to, and all adults had their own rooms with long beds - very nice!We made use of hot tub and owners thought of every detail - a bin of flip flops, hot tub towels and plastic glassware! Kitchen is exceptionally well outfitted - best I’ve seen for a vacation home! From crock pots to Dutch ovens, to several types of coffee makers! We found everything we needed.For those skiing - only issue is to access ski-in you do have to be comfortable taking a blue or black run to get back. With pioneer chair closed our main option was to take gondola up. Quickest option to ski out in Am meant a short walk and then cat track to base. But overall easy!For a family or bigger group, I highly recommend this home! Really lovely and the owner was very quick to respond."
