  • Recently renovated 2 level home ready for your dream vacation. A five minute walk to the beach and quarter mile from grocery stores and restaurants. The Cape has everything you need for your next Outer Banks getaway!

    Located on a corner lot at Mile Post 10, The Cape is on the ocean side of the highway and includes a recently renovated main floor, 3 bedrooms, two full baths, and lower level den.

    If you want to be in the center of it all, The Cape is the place for you! Centrally located in Nags Head at the 10-mile post, local seafood restaurants like the Red Drum Tap House, The Kill Devil Grill, Mama Kwan's, the New York Pizza Pub and the Outer Banks Brewing Station are just a short distance away. Outer Banks attractions such as the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Jockey's Ridge State Park, And the Nags Head Fishing Pier are less than a 10-minute drive from The Cape as well!

    Featuring sleeping for 8, updated appliances and furniture throughout, The Cape has everything your family needs for a dream vacation. The Cape also includes a formal dining room, and a crow's nest to soak in summer sunsets.

    After a day at the beach, rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower and then relax on the crow's nest enjoying the salt air breeze. After a day of fishing on one of the Outer Banks famous piers, clean your catch on the outdoor cleaning station and fire up the outdoor grill. After dinner, enjoy a family movie night on the new 55" HD TV.

Super Clean, Great Location

The Cape was one of the best VRBO vacations we have had. The house is spotless and well appointed. Its location is ideal, only a short walk to the beach or a short drive to the grocery store. We hope to return next summer!

This place was easy to find, which was helpful as we had a long drive. It was clean and quiet. The beach is so close and easy to walk to. Even the almost 2-year-old did the walk without a stroller. I enjoyed the central location. We used all the floors including the patios. It's nicely done. My only problem was that we ran out of toilet paper and couldn't locate any more. We ended up sharing one roll between 2 bathrooms. But to be fair, I looked for more, but I didn't call our host and ask her where it was kept. I would stay at this home again.

Awesome Beach House

Rented this place for a guys fishing trip. Location was super convenient, house was incredibly clean and the kitchen was well stocked for whatever you need to cook a meal. Short walk to the beach or pier. The deck also allowed you to see a nice sunrise over the dunes. The host was also very nice and responded quickly to any questions. 10/10 will definitely be staying here again this year when I bring my family for our yearly OBX visit

Girl’s weekend

This was our second stay at Malinda’s wonderful cottage. The location is just perfect for the restaurants and shopping we wanted to do for our girl’s weekend. A forecasted rainy weekend turned into the most beautiful two days we could have asked for. Thanks to Malinda for letting us stay again. We will be back!!!

Beautiful and great rental for our family of 6

The home was beautiful and clean, and fit our family of 6 perfectly. The kids had their own bunk room with their own bathroom attached to their room. The parents and baby were on the other side of the house with our own bathroom in the hallway. There was also a den downstairs that provided a separate space. The sunrise was beautiful on the top deck!

Guys Fishing Weekend

We went down for a fishing weekend out of the Oregon Inlet. The house was perfect for 4 guys. It was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. The coffee maker worked well. It looks exactly like it shows on the photos. Thumbs up.

We loved the location since we were there for my daughter’s wedding and we needed to run errands. We had a hiccup at check in beyond the host’s control and she listened and made it right! The kitchen was well laid out and perfect for our niece to finish decorating the cookies. The crow’s nest was nice as were the sliding glass doors from the bedrooms to the covered deck. It was a whirlwind weekend but we were happy with our accommodations!

We were very impressed with the kitchen equipment, they had everything you would need. We had to clean the grill before we used it but it was great to have a grill even if it was charcoal! The place was better than the pictures in my opinion, brighter and airier. Very clean, need to provide your own towels and we forgot a bath mat which would have been useful. There was a cloth shower curtain in one bathroom which was the only thing that looked a little dirty. Overall a great stay and we would definitely recommend to friends.
