"The First Colony Inn is a lovely old property in a great location for visiting the Outer Banks. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Buffet breakfast choices were very good and the hot option varied each day. There's a wonderful beach opposite the inn and a good selection of restaurants and shops nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return."

"They have definitely done some work. Though the general age of the place shows it was still comfortable and clean and we will definitely stay again. They had 2 beautiful sitting areas in the lobby along with an outside area. Check-in and Check-Out was simple and easy. "
