Wake up to beautiful sunrises from the wonderful ocean views you will experience at this property! Enjoy the luxury of your own private walkway to the beach with a dune-top deck. You will have plenty of room to splash around in the 14 x 28 private pool or soak your cares away in the hot tub. In the evenings, how about a friendly game of pool in the home's recreation room with full kitchen and wet bar?

Nice rustic oceanside beachhouse

Overall we had a wonderful time at the Harriss Cottage! Yes, oceanfront, but due to the height of the dunes, the only view of the beach/ocean was from the two top bedrooms or the end of the walkway, which was disappointing. The house had plenty of space with 4 ac units. Unfortunately the main floor ac unit was not working efficiently or just powerful enough to keep that level cool which made two of the bedrooms on that floor too uncomfortable to sleep in. Thankfully our group was small enough so we did not need to use them. We reported this to the realty company/manager on Sunday but no-one ever showed up to fix/work on it. We managed the issue with box fans which helped some. One other minor issue was that both grills were full of ashes and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Again, overall we had a great stay in this rustic OBX beach house.
