Your family and furry friends will love the quick walk to the beautiful ocean where you can relax in the sun, surf and search for shells and sea glass. The crow's nest is perfect for gathering to watch the stars and enjoy the sound of the waves and smells of the salty air.

    South Nags Head is ideal for the family. The multi-use path is great for walking, running and riding a bike, several piers are close by for fishing and dining. Many local restaurants, shops and outdoor activities are within a short driving distance.

South NagsHead

property well appointed, comfortable and the crowsnest was a real enjoyment for all. Thankfully I brought an extra umbrella so when it was not unbearable humidity and temps it was great to have a 360 view of everything from the Bodie Lighthouase to the causeway bridge like sitting on the beach without the hassel of lugging everything down and back. Biggest drawback was the narrow street and turning around for parking and coming and going.

Check in time was 4pm Saturday. We arrived at 430pm. The house was not cleaned yet by Village Realty. I called and left a message because no one answered. A crew showed up 15 minutes later to clean. We left and I sat in our vehicle with our dog for 1.5 hours to let them clean. We came back to find garbage on the floors, soda cans on the dressers, and dirty everything. Then when we went upstairs to where the living room was we discovered that the previous tenants allowed their dog to urinate on EVERYTHING! It was on the curtains, carpets, couches, chairs, and doors. The smell waa so bad the cleaning crew left the doors open and allowed the house to heat up to 79 degrees. My family and I were disgusted. I took down the urine soaked curtains put them outside along with the loose caprets/mats. We vacuumed an entire canister of sand out of the steps alone. Two of my family slept in the car as they refused to stay in such filth! Five of us spent at least 3 hours cleaning just to make the first floor livable. The company finally responded from a different office as the manager of our area was not there. She helped set up a steam cleaner that came later Sunday. She assured me he would contact me Monday and talk to us about compensation. He never called or reached out. We found fake fingernails on the floor! The smell never went away but was masked by the carpet cleaner. Our vacation was ruined and I will be requesting full refund or dispute the charges.
