Hakuba Alps Hotel
The reviews are true. This property is very dated, however for the right price it is a decent place to stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped. There is an onsite ski rental shop, ski lockers, convenience store and wonderful onsens and pool area.

The staff were very responsive and friendly. The hotel was also very warm and inviting - they lit the fireplace on some nights and there were fun amenities in the lobby like hammocks and a foosball table.
