We had the place to ourselves during a rainy week and really enjoyed the breakfast and proximity to wonderful adventures. The owners were helpful and friendly and made our stay very comfortable. No vale was present to help me with my bags, which were pretty heavy walking up flights of stairs but I guess if I had asked them for help they would have asked someone to come."

"This hotel was perfect, comfortable and endearing, in such a lovely area of Switzerland. I loved the shared space, the staff were so friendly, especially to my dog, the restaurant had a fantastic dinner and breakfast was great! The only negative for me is that it is right next to 2 churches whose bells ring very loudly every 15 minutes all through the night! Both nights, I barely slept at all and while I’m not usually a light sleeper, I do really value my sleep so instead of returning home refreshed after what would have otherwise been a truly wonderful weekend away in the stunning countryside in a cozy hotel, I’m ready for a nap! I mention this only for others who are considering this hotel who may be light sleepers as there were no other comments mentioning it…. Bring earplugs or a white noise machine in order to absolutely benefit from this charming hotel and gorgeous landscape. I went for great hikes both Saturday and Sunday, right from the hotel…. Absolutely amazing! Would love to return for skiing! "

"This room was gorgeous. The details made us feel special. The book nook, reading area, chocolates on the pillow and herbal teas were treats after a long travel day. The hotel is a short walk from Lake Zurich, which has a lot of dining options. Lake Zurich is gorgeous, utterly gorgeous.
Notes: breakfast is offered for a fee on the weekends, but there is a cafe a very short walk away. You can park on the grounds for a small fee, but there is also public parking. Most places take credit cards "
