"The staff were very friendly when I checked in and throughout my entire stay! The valet was convenient, much easier than trying to find parking elsewhere. There was no in-and-out for the valet while I was there, but it’s the city, a million things are in walking distance; so, if you don’t mind that, it really is wonderful place to stay. I’ve stayed in 4 hotels in the past two months in NY, and this one was actually my favorite! It was extremely clean as well, absolutely no problems with cleanliness during my stay! ◡̈ Will stay again, most definitely."

"The 1st time I stayed everything was great 5 stars! 2nd time I had almost none of the usual amenities. No microwave, no ironing board, no iron, no remote control, no blow dryer, barely had any TP lol. They were able to give me a few things after a couple of asks, but still frustrating when you are trying to get settled. I can understand that they may have been low on rooms so I will probably give it another try for a future trip. Perfect location, good priced breakfasts for NYC, clean comfortable rooms overall. Thank you"

"I had a very disappointing stay at the Canal Loft Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt unwelcoming. The front desk staff member was either on her phone or outside smoking for most of our stay, which made us feel like we were inconveniencing her whenever we needed basic assistance, even something as simple as checking in. The room itself had several issues. The shower barely functioned, making it difficult to get proper water pressure or temperature. The toilet seat was cracked, which was both uncomfortable and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. On top of that, the heater seemed to dry out the air so much that it irritated my sinuses throughout the night. The worst part of our stay came on the last day, when we discovered cockroaches in the room. That was completely unacceptable and overshadowed everything else. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend staying here."

"Rooms are not for 3 people, so tiny. Beds are not double, twin. Two people can not sleep together. Room is not clean and too old but but a classic. Maybe good for single travelers but not for the families. "

"Great location, staff were friendly and I had no issues with the check in, and the roodto Only issue was AC was about 75-78F for the duration of the stay, no matter what settings I tried, it just wouldnt get cold in the room, if I stayed over summer it would be a real problem."
