The Dudley Inn

10/10 Excellent

"I really enjoyed my last minute booking at The Dudley Inn. As a newcomer to the area I was relieved as soon as I entered my room. The owners put a great deal of thought into making the room exceptional. The beds were so fresh and comfortable that I thought I was in a resort. I was very grateful to the air conditioning system and the added bonus of an air purifier. They thought of many details such as the refrigerator, microwave, and high end coffee maker. The bathroom was huge with gorgeous tiling and high end shampoos and conditioners. The charming town of Bala was 10 minutes away and I would highly recommend the croissants at Jack & Stella to start your day1"

Touchstone Resort

"Room was clean, but did have a bit of a smell at first, but it did seem to calm down after we had balcony door open for a bit. Staff did not advise that we could ask for towels to use at the pool. The rooms are positioned very high on the property, but unfortunately you can’t really see the lake due to the trees blocking the view. Kitchen in our unit was awesome. Room was very spacious. Really liked the layout of the living area and separate bedroom. The staff at the Touchstone Grill restaurant was great. The food was EXCELLENT! Overall, it was a great 2 day stay at Touchstone Resort and look forward to getting back there again soon."

Muskoka Tiny Home

"We absolutely loved our stay in the Muskoka Tiny House. It had everything we needed to cook some delicious meals on our anniversary getaway, was very clean and the host was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. There are two barbeques on the property as well as a small firepit for roasting marshmallows. This is a perfect spot for a couple to get away from the city. Very close to the town of Windermere where you can go swimming and sip on a nice beverage or get some ice cream, as well as being close to the town of Port Carling which is lively in the summer and has everything you could possibly need. Nothing beats the view from the bedroom loft, and the interior is new and beautiful as well. Perfect space for a romantic getaway. Initially the stairs seemed a little bit sketchy with the gaps in between, but the more you use them, the easier it becomes. Would 100% stay here again. Thank you, Adrian!"

Modern Luxury Brand New Masterpiece on Muskoka Lakes Now Accepting Booking

"Overall contact with the host was good, easy to get along wit, shared information and answered questions with ease. The property with location near the lake was good and the home itself was very spacious. Each family was able to have a room which was big enough with a bathroom each (3/4 bedrooms). The cleanliness of the property was disappointing, when we walked in we could tell the place was not clean (the gas stove had remains from cooking from previous people and floors still had snacks and things in the corners which was really disappointing as we were coming with children ages 1-9 and ended up coming in and having to clean the place ourselves. The property outside was beautiful however not well kept cleanliness wise - there was still items from renovations and things outside which was a bit of a safety concern. The neighbours were not too thrilled to find out that the property is now a rental property so they did give our group a hard time and was constantly messaging the host with complaints. It felt like they were trying to build their case to shut the rental process down. As a result the host did message us about concerns the neighbours had although we were mindful of them. The host did do her best to try and maintain the peace between host and guests. The last day we were there the water in the whole house did run out. We had to use the jugs of water that was provided to take cold baths and get ready - not ideal with 8 adults and 7 kidsPet friendly"
