3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1003)
"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of this property. We affectionately called it "Dracula's Castle." It was easy to locate, it sort of stood out in the shipping area where it was located. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were generally very pleasant, though the one who checked us in the first evening was not particularly welcoming and when we asked for additional towels the person who brought it smelled of marijuana, no harm was done, it was just a little odd. "Could not fine hotel, even though on Main Street. OYO is nowhere on the hard to read smallish sign. Lettering on the sign was so thin that it was impossible to see at the turnoff. "

Norton Shores Lakefront: Relax, Hike, Explore!
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (13)
"We had a great time at this property. It was the perfect space for us. After staying on Lake Michigan a few times, this was exactly what we expected. The views and access to the lake were awesome. Large deck and outdoor space. Indoors very spacious besides the bathrooms- my fiancé is 6’5 and could really only utilize one bathroom. Kitchen had the basics, new grill was nice! One complaint- when we first checked-in we noticed the house was extremely warm- warmer than outside on a 85+ temp day....

"This house is fantastic, the location is super close to town but away from others. You can still hear the traffic, but if you look up river, all you see is a stunning wetland river ecosystem and a sweet old railroad bridge. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck over the river, saw a pair of mallards, swans, Canada geese, a turtle and a water snake in just a short time frame. The house was comfortable, and meet our needs."
