Musk Farm Studio-Escape, relax and unwind amongst beautiful gardens

Inspired and created by the famous designer Stuart Rattle, Musk Studio is a unique and fascinating fairy-tale cottage surrounded by the most magical of gardens.

Situated in an idyllic rural setting, surrounded by lush pastures and rolling hills, Musk Studio is only 5 minutes from the fantastic restaurants, cafes, shops and spas of Daylesford.

Musk Studio is an anglophile haven with a cast-iron fireplace the centre focus of the sitting area. The three main rooms have large hexagonal shaped windows enclosing, and leading out to a private pebbled courtyard, complete with barbeque. This area is exclusively for Musk Studio guests with its secluded Trellis Garden and enormous blue cedar. Here is the ideal place for a picnic and a wonderful place to sit and reflect or take in the view of the main house across the apple walk. Kitchenette with small oven and hotplate, microwave and basic cooking utensils along with coffee pod machine . Smart TV and Wifi .

Guests staying at Musk Studio can explore the beautiful Musk Farm gardens which comprise 15 different garden rooms. These include the magnificent Tank Garden, the splendid Woodlands area and the newly established Rosarium.

This fantastic studio is a gardener’s delight and a stay here surrounded by green will be as rewarding as it is relaxing.

Serene Retreat
My partner and I stayed over New Years for a quiet getaway and were not disappointed. As we checked in we were lucky enough to meet the lovely owner who let us know that we were free to roam the gardens as we pleased. Every pocket of the property is beautiful. The accommodation is quaint and exquisitely decorated. The kitchen is quite small, no cooktop as advertised (just a small convection/air-fryer) so we used the barbecue instead, more than manageable for a short stay though. Self check-in/check out was quick and easy and our questions via email were answered within minutesm. Will definitely return.

An excellent little cosy studio
My partner and I loved this property. We enjoyed the aesthetic of the interior and being surrounded by the lovely gardens. The only criticisms we have are minor. There was no wardrobe space to hang or unload clothes into. The advertised internet speed (100+ Mbps) was incorrect, it was much slower. The shower can easily overflow into the bathroom a little. And the hot water is a bit slow and fluctuates from hot to cold a lot in the shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and we will likely stay here again.

We had the most wonderful weekend at the cottage. The property and grounds were just spectacular. They were immaculate in every sense and we can't wait to come back!
