"We stated 1 night at the Earl and it was great! This was our favorite hotel of our week long trip. I'll mention the only 2 downsides up front: 1. There is only 1 elevator and it's at the very front of the building by check in so if your room is on the other side of the building (it's shaped like a square missing 1 side) then you may have some walking to do BUT this was fine for us and we used the circular staircases when leaving instead. 2. Parking is limited inside their parking lot, however you can park on the main road right next to the building usually and that worked out fine for us as well. The upsides: The location is wonderful and right by downtown and the drawbridge that opens every half hour. Super cool to see the big boats come through. You can also walk to the beach area and up to the mushroom houses if you are good with hills and we enjoyed this walk! The room was MASSIVE - truly twice the size of any other rooms we stayed in at other hotels. The bathroom was also quite large and stocked with Beekman products which was a very nice touch. The staff were top notch! We had no issues with check in or check out. They were able to provide great dining recommendations as well!"

"It was a wonderful place for the 17 of us. I enjoyed the kitchen and how we were able to sit around the table not all of us. We took our German Shepherd and having a fenced in back yard was fantastic. Location was fantastic a few blocks from down town a few blocks from the beach a 5 minute drive to the dog park. "

"The space was charming and clean. Location was ideal for access to town and parking very convenient. I would have liked a USB charger some where in the unit, and a toilet paper holder. It was not easy to access behind you on the tank top. The chairs at the dining table were not very comfortable and there was nasty water in the base of the toilet bowl scrubber. I know the description stated steep stairs to the loft but I didn't realize you could barely stand up once you climbed up there. I did talk to Shawn who was very pleasant to switch rooms, but unfortunately they were all booked. Overall it was a cute space, and ideal for those who wouldn't be spending much time in it."

"Wow! The Palmer house exceeded our expectations and was the perfect beach spot for our family getaway. The house is beautiful and well stocked with everything that you could possibly need. Our host Tim communicated with us to ensure everything was just right. The beach and playground were so close - just steps away and we enjoyed walking to the nearby shops and restaurants downtown. We enjoyed the big front porch seating and used the grill and fire pit. Everything was very clean and updated. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!"

"This property was amazing for the location and size. Giving everyone their own bathroom was amazing!! Highly recommend. The view from the living room over the water was INCREDIBLE!! The following notes are things we thought could be improved, but I can’t stress enough how charming our trip was and how much we loved having 2 kitchens and other amenities. Our group took no real issue with them but acknowledged a group expecting a luxury experience would’ve been frustrated.That said, if you’re particularly interested in a “perfect” home, this is not that. There’s peeling paints, shoddy install work on some of the fixtures, 2/3 TVs seemed not to work, WiFi was difficult to connect to, and the bbq in the back wasn’t fully functional. The home has lots of quirks (some showers had water pressure, others did not, etc.), but if you’re a group that doesn’t mind those, this is a delightful home."
