"very nice hotel with great views and located in a littlw town centre with lots of great restaurant options. Staff very helpful. Boat tour with Michael was a highlight"
"From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Francesca. The apartment was spotless and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed. The outside area was beautiful with amazing views. I have never been anywhere so peaceful and relaxing with such great hospitality.
Breakfast was amazing, with home made cake, juice and jam, plus fresh fruit and yogurt. All delicious.
Our air conditioning stopped working, and was repaired within hours.
The only down side was that we didn't...
"A quiet environment, with beautiful views and large pool. Andrea, our host, had been incredible, lots of recommandation, a drive to the port and complimentary spritz by the pool. We couldnt dream of a more perfect stay"
"Fantastic location, older hotel but very charming. They need to cleanup the bottom floor/abandoned rooms on the ocean, but it really doesn’t effect the overall experience unless you venture down there. Beautiful views from rooms and hotel grounds."
"Abbiamo trascorso una settimana indimenticabile, piena di calore, cortesia, bellezza, generosità, disponibilità.
Ci siamo sentiti a casa, accolti dai titolari come se fossimo di famiglia.
Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.
Speriamo di ritornare

"We were in Italy 5 weeks, and Lipari was my favorite place. We liked it so much we decided to stay two extra days. We used the common kitchen area and had an enjoyable time meeting others doing the same thing. It made our room seem twice as large. "

Therasia Resort Sea & Spa - The Leading Hotels of the World
10/10 Excellent
"Thank you to all the people working at the resort - made our stay very special"
"Unforgettable stay at Hotel Ravesi in Malfa! The staff was incredibly kind and always helpful. Stunning location with breathtaking views. Don’t miss the wine tasting with their sommelier Riccardo, very knowledgeable and a real pleasure to chat with."
"This is our third time at Mari del Sud in the past six years, and unfortunately, we’ve noticed it’s slowly declining. It’s a pity, because the resort has such great potential, so close to the sea and the beautiful Sabbie Nere beach and head a beautiful swimming pool.
One major downside is the lack of a transfer service from the harbor to the hotel. We had the service during previous stays, and most hotels and resorts on the island of Vulcano still offer it. Although the receptionist said the hotel is walkable, I wouldn’t recommend it if you're traveling with elderly people, as I was. We ended up having to call a taxi for both directions, which cost €15 each way.
Breakfast is good and the staff do their best, but the number of waiters is insufficient for the volume of guests. The swimming pool opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m., so if you're an early riser or looking to unwind after an excursion, it’s disappointing to find the pool closed.
Housekeeping cleans the rooms daily, which is appreciated, though again the limited number of staff means your room might be serviced late in the day, often when you're back for a siesta. I really hope Mari del Sud will go back being the resort everybody used to love."
"Our day was a very quick day, but nonetheless, was absolutely spectacular. The hotel is not only beautiful, but the staff is so plugged in to ensuring you Enjoy every moment of your your stay."
"I loved this property! Rooms were spacious and very clean. Beautiful pool area. The food at the pool bar was delicious and fresh! I wish we had eaten dinner at the hotel too. Breakfast was perfect with variety of choices. Staff were incredibly helpful and informative. I hope to return to Lipari and will stay here again for sure."
"It's hard to describe this hotel is like stepping into the 70s with so much charm. The restaurant was lovely for dinner watching the sunset. Breakfast was ok, a good choice of options. Walk to town was easy down driveway across volcanic rock beach and up a street on otherside, Then was quite flat to get around town centre. Water off the hotel is amazing, and pool warm and lovely. Rooms are definitely older style but space was good. We will be back, loved it with all of its quirks!"
"I can't recommend Hotel Signum in Salina highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly balances chic luxury with genuine hospitality. The magnificent views and breathtaking landscapes surrounding the hotel are nothing short of stunning; every window feels like a postcard.
Our room was beautifully designed—spacious, stylish, and filled with thoughtful details that made our stay feel extra special. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh, local ingredients that set a perfect tone for the day. But the dining experience was truly out of this world; each meal was a culinary delight that showcased the best of Sicilian cuisine.
A special shoutout to Laura, who was indispensable throughout our stay. She accommodated every request with grace and even organized a surprise for my wife’s birthday, making it a day we will never forget. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt taken care of from start to finish.
Hotel Signum is a rare gem that leaves you wanting to return time and again. It’s a place where luxury meets warmth, and every moment is infused with care. Don’t miss the chance to experience this enchanting hotel!"
