"We are a family of 6. We all fit more than comfortable with lots of room. The staff were very nice and attentive. The place was safe and secured. The location was perfect! Ten minutes away from everything walking distant. There is a little coffee shop called “Cafe Rustiko” best breakfast only 3 min aways. Pan-AM was delicious too only 4 min away. Tacos El Roy only 8 min walk as well Bomb!!!!! Great experience for our family!"

"They were super accommodating. Due to some last minute rescheduling we ended up in the city much earlier than expected and the gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. They have an elevator which is a plus if you have a lot of suitcases. The young lady in the evenings isn’t very friendly and you feel like you are bothering her by returning from a late night, but other than that the staff was pleasant and professional. The rooms are pretty roomy and clean and I loved the rain showers. It’s also very close to the Zocalo and mercados but it wasn’t noisy. Would recommend."

"Casa 1800 Oaxaca is one of those places that is even better in person than it looks in the photos—and that says a lot, because the photos are beautiful. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Oaxaca, making it incredibly easy to walk everywhere and enjoy the city. But what really makes this hotel special is the atmosphere. The architecture, decoration, colors, details, and beautiful spaces create a perfect mix of Oaxaca’s character with an elegant, sophisticated feel. Every corner seems thoughtfully designed. The service was exceptional. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. You immediately feel that the staff cares about making your stay a great experience. And a special recommendation: book the Carmen room. It is absolutely worth it. The room has a wonderful character and is the kind of space that makes you want to spend a little extra time enjoying the hotel rather than simply using it as a place to sleep. Honestly, the photos do not do Casa 1800 Oaxaca justice. You have to see it, walk through it, and experience it to appreciate how beautiful and special it really is. A fantastic stay and, without hesitation, a hotel I would happily return to on my next visit to Oaxaca."
