The staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was very good, served in a spacious and air room. The location was very convenient with parking about 1/2 km away. The historical sites in Avila are wonderful. Walking the length of the wall is very cool."

"The hotel was perfect for a quiet stay in winter in Sierra de Gredos. The room was more than I expected for the price and I love the beautiful, antique style of the hotel and the amazing views. My one *small* concern is that I had to depart at 9:30- reception and breakfast were supposed to start at 9, and there was seemingly nobody at the hotel.
