Driftwood is a recently remodeled five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath oceanfront home located .9 miles south of Garden City Pier. This property features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with granite counters and stainless steel appliances that include two refrigerators, double oven, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a Keurig coffee maker, margarita machine, and stand-alone ice maker at the wet bar. Other amenities include washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans (except in upstairs twin-over-twin bedroom), and hickory hardwood flooring throughout with tiled floors in the bathrooms and laundry. Six HDTVs (firestick, HTC Max streaming), two DVD/BluRay players, high speed Wi-Fi Internet are also provided. Conveniences for children include two pack-n-plays and two highchairs. Sleeping accommodations include two king, one queen, two twin-sized beds, plus two twin-over-twin bunk bed sets, one queen sleeper sofa, and a twin-sized sleeper sofa. Each bedroom features its own private bath. The master bathroom includes a standalone shower and Jacuzzi tub. The outdoor living space features rocking chairs, additional refrigerator, two enclosed outdoor showers with hot and cold water and changing rooms, three picnic tables, charcoal grill, hot tub, and private 15-by-15-foot heated swimming pool. The swimming pool can be heated Labor Day through Memorial Day when air temperatures are above 45-degrees. No smoking. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 15

Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.
