Beautiful older hotel in immaculate condition. Restaurant on sight which we used as it was a holiday and many other restaurants were closed. Parking garage available. Wonderful stay.

In general I had good stay; reception & restaurant staff were very nice & helpful. But, last two nights, I did not have a good sleep as lots of physical activities on top of my room by the hotel staff. It was very bad last night of my stay, many times I woke up due to loud noises and pulling/pushing sounds. I was very tired with no good sleep last night when I went tot the airport for a long air travel. This kind of disturbances by your staff are very unacceptable.

I had a little bit of trouble in getting the reservation number in a timelymanner, which was necessary to activate the Bern "welcome" card, which is different from the Expedia one. Butafter a couple of requests, I got it over a phone call, just before getting on a tram, so no problem after all, but maybe for some people it might be stressful to ask many times, so it might be better if you could provide the number more systematically (a friend who stayed at a different hotel received it automatically, without requesting).

It is right off the tram / bus route, making it very easy to explore Bern without being right in town. Nice hotel, clean rooms and the restaurant seemed to be well visited.

The reception gave another guest our room key at 1am and that guest entered our room and woke us up. Aircon didn’t work Pleasant staff but rooms tired Didn’t offer anything for the trouble other than free parking (maybe breakfast would have been nice) Slept terrible due to worry about someone else entering our room. Staff didn’t seem too bothered

Stay at Sternen Muri Bern

The hotel was lovely with really good staff who were really helpful and gave good advice on public transport etc. The menu was good and we found it easy to pick things to our taste. The afternoon sorbets and coffee were brilliant.

Our room was in what looked like a new expansion of the hotel. On the first floor everything was modern and clean.Bed was comfortable and bathroom, although small had very good lighting and decent towels. The things I didn't like about it were, the hair dryer was obviously an old one and didn't work well. Soaps provided were generic and supposed to be used for hand,hair and body. Which I didn't care for.The room was very warm even though the outside temps were in the 40's o F. The a/c did not working correctly. It made a loud banging noise so we wound up just turning it off an keeping the window open and the noise outside kept me awake. We only ate breakfast there one day It was a typical buffet with scrambled eggs and some cold cuts fruits and pastres. Prices are exorbitant in Switzerland so we were not surprised by the 19.00 Franc cost per person but still didn't feel it was all that good for the price. There was at the time of our stay, construction going on outside hotel although we were not disturbed by any noise. We did have some difficult checking in.because the main entrance was not obvious from where we were dropped off and found it A bit awkward but we managed with some help by a gentleman working at the hotel. Overall it was not an unpleasant stay and we found the location very convenient for our purposes being between Bern, and a family members home . The light rail station was just outside the hotel, which made it very easy to get around.

First it was nice to have a good dinner on location! Cean room! Comfortable bed! Nice to have a face cloth! The fan was a must as there is no AC in the room we had. It was a bit warm, but we opened the window and that was fine until traffic started moving towards morning.

The Hotel was spotless. We are in the in house restaurant and had a delicious meal. Staying at the hotel provided us with Bern transportation cards so we easily traveled into the old town and to the Klee Museum with free trams.
