I was not impressed with our room. It was very odd not having staff on site during check in. Not a very personable experience. The breakfast was half empty.

This was a nice place to stop for one night while we were on the road for a long time. Check in had a kiosk only. The room was small and clean. It was outdated but did the job for one night. The town and area around it felt like a ghost town which felt a little unsettling so we locked the doors and stayed safely indoors at night. Breakfast was good.

Convenient place to stay, Easy on and off Hwy 90, needed place that took pet dog. Only minus is room next door left thier two large dogs in room alone for 3 plus hours (against rules) and they were howling, barking, and scratching while we were trying to sleep from 10 pm on…

It says the office is open until 11, but when we got there at 10 had to use a kiosk to check in. The door to the room was very hard to open, took multiple attempts. The room was very large and comfortable but kind of had a bad smell.

Kiosk with person to check in was a unique experience. Great family room that comfortably slept our whole family! Worth it for all 3 kids to get their own bed. I wish there were more rooms like this!

No kiosk please.
Bizarre check-in. Kiosk with someone talking to you through monitor. Had to use credit card although my booking through Hotels.com said I could pay cash upon arrival. If notified of kiosk check-in in the future, I likely will not book that location. But....this Best Western was a very nice place and provided a good breakfast.

Close your booking if you are closing your office
Needed a place to stay on a long road trip. This hotel was accepting bookings all through the evening, but when we arrived, the office was closed, with a posted notice saying to ring a bell if you have a reservation and to "be patient." Waited outside for half an hour after ringing the bell multiple times with no answer. Didn't even appear that the bell was operational, and no one came to help us. Had to go across town to emergency book a room elsewhere. Shout-out to Hotels.com for working with us to get a refund, but if the Best Western does not allow guests to check in after 10PM, they shouldn't be taking people's money after that time.

Dated 1950s motel VERY overpriced
This motel was old school drive up to your room door. Room was clean but tiny, staff was super nice and helpful. WAY overpriced and most expensive place in an entire week's worth of hotel stays.Best Western really should consider investing better in this property to make it worth the cost

If you need to stop and stay in Murdo SD this Best Western is pretty decent. Clean but definitely dated rooms and fixtures. The desk attendant was extremely friendly and accommodating quickly completing our check-in.
